To be sitting inside, curled up into a warm blanket, watching through the window. Snow falling. And falling. Time stopping and for a moment there’s only snow. Snow falling with no beginning nor end. And nothing to be seen but its blinding whiteness, nothing to be heard but its haunting, soothing howls. To be losing one’s self in the snow storm, despite not quite knowing why. But cherishing the moment nevertheless and making mad wishes to find for yourself, something into the nothing.

This brings back memories of my cousin and I being stuck in Little America, Wyoming at a truck stop back in the early 90's. I-80 had been shut down because of weather like this. It was well below zero with high winds and white out conditions. My first time getting to experience anything like this after spending my whole life in Florida.

Bought a bullwhip there in 1968 for $1.00. Nice one, too. Used to snap my ear every time l tried to make it crack.... 😑

They say Hawaii is paradise but honestly how could you ever live some place where you could never experience something as beautiful as this? A warm, comfy little bed with a big patchwork quilt. Hot soup simmering on the stove, and a good book, and a sweet cat curled up by your side gently purring away.

Roaring fireplace, dogs sleeping next to it, well stocked library, plenty of food and some fresh brewed tea.....

I wouldn't give it a thumbs down but this is a serious blizzard... not so relaxing for me. It's summer where I am and warm, very warm. Watching this for a minute gives me an unpleasant chill. And I like snow. That's me. I'm sure others enjoy this.

The limp wrist cry babies couldn’t exist without their mommies . It takes a person with resilience & resourcefulness to live away from others. I love the cold & snow more than anything . Summer is horrible time of year. Any temp over 12C is too hot.

@@vicranger6876 You must have some Yeti DNA. Here's the catch.... I live 9,000 feet up in The San Juan Mountains of Colorado. It can get pretty wintery up here. Maybe that's why summer is welcome relief in these parts. I get to experience plenty of snow and cold.

I hate the cold, but I love the idea of being in a cabin all cozy while there's a blizzard outside.

Enough food & water supply, enough wood for fire, tons of battery supply for my gadget to watch all the movies I downloaded, autobiography books, tons of blankets & pillows and I'm good in this cabin for the next 3 months!

Reminds me of when I worked on Russian drilling rigs in Siberia. We had these really nice two person cabins that looked like Gypsy Wagons on monster truck tires. You’d pull them from rig to rig with a bull dozer. My time off shift I’d have the place to myself, tea kettle and Jim Dale reading Harry Potter on audiobook while gale force blizzards were blowing outside. It would get so cold outside that you’d have an inch of ice buildup on the inside of your window.

On windy days i used to open a window just enough to make the whistling, howling sound and snuggle up to sleep. The windows in this house won't do that so I listen to videos. 😊 Thank you to all the creators 👍

Ah, reminds me of hiding in the mountains during the apocalypse! So reassuring!

Can't believe no one mentioned hot chocolate with exxxtra marshmallows and whipped cream on top. Oh and dark chocolate shavings on top....Mmm that sounds Amazing right now. Since I can eat whatever I want in this fantasy I'm having, I'm going to need a huge gooey, sticky,and warm cinnabon with extra frosting. No fork needed either 😊 Oh and a bottle of cold water, that's a lot of sugar...No alarm clock either since I'm not going to work in that mess! For the bed I'm going to need a new white duvet cover and fluffy firm pillows on top of 1200 thread count sheets and a heating blanket of course...mmm what a night

I think this could be the best relaxation/sleep inducing video ever! 💯

It was the third day of this relentless blizzard. I was getting cabin fever. So I put on thermal wear and my ski outfit with an extra parka. I opened the door and in flu enza! Good thing that I laid in an extra box of cream of wheat and a bag of chicory tea!

I think this is what it sounds like in utero between the 💓, the lungs and the workings of the internal organs, this is what it sounds like. That is why we like it so much🤗

This is extremely cozy. I love 💕 the entire cozy set up. The artic wind is such a relaxing atmosphere. It's like that here in Oklahoma with out the wind. But the snow will snow non stop till 9am tomorrow morning but your channel is better with that strong sound effect. It's love your channel

Glad I was wise enough to leave northern Maine and come to Florida. We had a Victorian, the wind blew through that place like it had no walls. We would come downstairs in the morning and stoke up the stove, but nothing warmed that breeze across our legs.

“The wind it was a howlin' and the snow was outrageous. We chopped through the night and we chopped through the dawn.”

My husband, my dog, a roaring fire, warm blankets, my books, good food, and Christmas time with a radio playing Christmas carols and a Charlie Brown Christmas tree 🎄

Love this. And I'll do you one better: Same situation but on an island in Lake Superior. Huge pile of firewood, propane lights, woodstove and a case of red wine

I actually live in a Cabin in the Woods atop a mountain valley high hill and experience this type of weather a few times a year ; off the grid with a wood stove : cozy , comfortable , and secure .

I’m live in Minnesota so I see and hear these storms firsthand and in person -50 winds omg it feels like your heater is Broken it’s that cold! BUT it’s beautiful and relaxing

This is why I left Miami, Florida for Colorado....never regretted it for a minutes!!!!!!!!!!Hallelujah! I'm in the Rockies! John Denver was right, this is a rocky mountain high!(Oh...but the state is in quarantine, so keep out...this COVID 19...very contagious) ignore previous comments.

Sounds like a hurricane. LOL. I sat through 12 hours of 89 mile an hour wind in 04 three times. And just this last year I sat through about that long on the dirty side of Hurricane Irma. 95 mile an hour steady winds, and 120 mile an hour gusts. Lost half my roof, the railing on the sundeck and it took our 50 year old native 65 tall Golden Poinciana a foot up out of the ground. We think we got hit by a tornado or a microburst. But we didn't suffer a single broken window on either story, and very little ground damage to plantings. Back to the sound......It sounds just like this. A constant roar that makes the very foundation of the house vibrate. Nature is an amazing force.

I would so be so happy playing video games inside that hut.

We live like this a few times every winter. Granted its a full sized home, but you are still miles from civilization, and not going anywhere!

Reminds me of our beautiful Winters here in Ohio

And no running water and no indoor toilet and doesn’t look like a wood pile nearby! Been there, done that! I still like the sound.

Actually, it's just a prop, a facade. A secret staircase leads to a massive bunker below, measuring 300 x 800 feet, with 20 foot high ceiling, replete with every modern convenience imaginable and then some.

Honestly, it looks like it's at least -40 below if not more!! That wind is the surviving factor! I'm a N.Y. blizzard baby and I love them.Long Island too! Secure extra food supply, lots of wood, spark the stove/fire, the candles, a hot soup, a blanket, a good book, company, coffee & fresh tea, games, my dog, sit back, relax, sleep & enjoy! How does a dog go out in this? Is that Alaska?? Woww!

Finally , a storm I can shut off !

Someone said in a similar blizzard-like video, "This is my kind of weather." Well, for me, this is definitely NOT my kind of weather. I wouldn't want to walk a mile in it. However, to be in a warm, cozy cabin, with a nice fire, some hot tea or cocoa, a blanket and a good book, in a snowstorm like this... that would be great! 🙂👍☃️❄️🔥
