Heavy Snowfall Blankets Athens, Sending Greek Capital into Chaos

'Heavy Snowfall Blankets Athens, Sending Greek Capital into Chaos'
Greece has witnessed an unusually heavy snowstorm, causing health experts to postpone all Covid-19 vaccinations across Athens.
Authorities even stopped most public transport services, including highways and ferries due to the unusual fall.
Power and water cuts were also reported in central Greece, although authorities say they were working to restore them.
Athens and several areas of Greece currently remain in lockdown, due to the recent rise of Covid-19 infections.

Europe is the same latitude as Canada and newfoundland ect.. If the gulf stream changes Europe will be a lot colder, Canada is still cold and snowy although people that live there say the lakes and rivers are freezing less and less solid. As they're use to driving over them in the winter so they'd notice if the ice isn't as strong in recent years.

I mean Europe isn't known for pouring tons of salts on their streets when it snows. Salt is responsible for a ton of the wear and tear roads experience during the winter months.

Madrid buried in snow too, ice-skating in the canals of Amsterdam, Britain frozen over, Texas looking like Alaska, now Athens.. So what happened to good old global warming?? The alarmists all said this should be impossible 🤣🤣🤣

We're in an interglacial period (warm period) right now, which means an ice age is next. But we're likely talking thousands of years from now. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKiiy9Ckl72Wp9Y.html

It is the middle of winter. It has happend in the past and it will happen in the future. The only reason we have seasons is because the earth is tilted ever so slightly. That is all. Nothing to worry about.

Hey mate, Greece is 80% mountainous so we have regions that get meters of snow each year, there are regions that the temperature gets as low as -20° degrees. Athens though isn't that cold and the temperature rarely gets below zero. Last time we saw that much snow in Athens was in 2008.
