Incidentally, while it's technically not part of the Team Neighborhood 2 canon, I personally consider this the unofficial pilot to the series. It's got much of the series' elements; smart writing for something that technically didn't need it, surprisingly good editing, good use of both Gmod and SFM, and dialogue from the creators themselves to shake up the mashup of soundbytes used for the mercs.

Carlos Vera Imo, Greatdictator's recent videos do have better animation than kitty0706's. However, the late Gmodder's brand of humor was unique. I'd say the closest person to kitty's style is DoctorLalve, who does a lot of the same sound effects and random but effective humor.
This is the first time I've ever seen people call a GMod/SFM animation "too long", an excellent reminder to how mind-bogglingly amazing this video is! The amount of effort that must have gone into this is staggering. It's also ridiculously underated, but hopefully that'll change soon :3 In short, this video demonstrates that GMod machinima is alive and is sure as hell kicking :3

well, I saw hundreds of GMod and SFM videos, long and short, neat and crappy, disturping and usual, but...I just never saw video with more effort put in it. It should be in one place with masterpieces like Spy's Creed or Team Fabulous 2. I even felt envy. You deserved more than just my like, subscribe and this comment, but that's what I can. You are the best, mate. Truly.
That was brilliant. Only some are gifted with the perseverance required to accomplish such a feat AND do it well! I thank you and all those who helped make this. It has certainly made me a happier man. I have seen many animations by many people all good and bad but this one has a special spot with Team fabulous 2 and Heavy's birthday1&2. You have earned a follower to the bitter end. Thank you.
I love when in SFM videos they bust out the high quality animation every so often to show your their skills before going back to the regular stupidity. I absolutely love it. Reminds me of the high detail shots that happen in Spongebob sometimes.

Really? 2-3 years? Jesus, man. Good job on the vid. Loved it!
At least once every month - 2 months, I come back to this. I love it to absolute bits. I cannot even fathom how long this must have taken you to make, but it's amazing, charming & funny. I honestly feel that this alone should absolutely be proof that GMod animators are just as skilled & deserving of praise as SFM animators.
for 2-3 years of work it is amazing. I also like how you mixed elder scrolls with final fantasy. so much grinding to just get good enough for battle.
This is so damn amazing. I have never seen an SFM that has impressed me so many times over. Each game is thought out and done so well! I love the work on the “secret of monkey island” bit, as well as the RTS game that came a few parts later.
This video deserves more attention. The effort put in to it was PHENOMENAL!

This timeless classic got me interested in several video game soundtracks waay back when this was released. Still such a great movie to come back to
This is honestly one of the most entertaining Sfms I've ever watched. You managed to capture my imagination and attention for 36 minutes, and it was al so charming! Bravo! My personal favorite sfm, even if I've seen better production value.
Watching this almost a year after it was made, and it's pretty entertaining. +1
This my son is what all Gmoders Dream off
Brilliantly done, this just goes to show that with alot of time, patience and twice as much dedication, you can turn a simple youtube video into something memorable.
The RTS is honestly one of my favorites with the way you nailed it with the selection sounds, the right-click panning around, the C&C sidebar and unit cameos in unique shots, etc. Bonus points for the Army Men: RTS music and Red Alert (classic) sounds. The Monkey Island/Adventure Game was also really good in capturing the pre-rendered sprites and background images.

If you watched from start to end, you can question what you are doing with your life rightfully. Jokes aside, that was super good. A lot of effort, and i like it. Great mate!
This is the best video I have ever watched...so much effort and dedication went into it and it really shows. I feel bad that I watched it for free...It's too good for KZread.
"and as i fell to my demide, i realised i just don't give a fuck anymore" I laughed really really hard
27:37 Army Men RTS? Now that's some sounds I haven't heard from in a *long* time..
This is REALLY well made! All of the original maps, "loading screens", and GUIs really add a lot to the experience. You could have been lazy and just had Heavy interact with characters from other games, but instead you put in a ton of effort and made something really epic. I wish more people would do that. Also, I would play the crap out of that RTS!
This fine animator gentleman is one of the new gmod legends, He will get there one day and when they do, twill be a great day.
Please continue the Team neighborhood series. It's Epicc.
I SAW WORSHIPPING CTHULHU! DON'T TELL ME I DIDN'T. Amazingly well made!
