This is the kind of flight I like to do. When you are sitting in dark, gloomy coastal stratus and you pop out on top in pure sunshine it's the best!

I had this happen on a commercial flight out of Albany New York. I know exactly what you mean. It was like the scene out of the movie "Flight"

@@johnkozuszek5550 long as its not freezing and or you have de icers (heat) on leading edges of your wings. don't wanna do that in a 152 cessna .lol

This old man here would love to sit in the cabin with Citation Dad and just chat. Given a son is a lot like his dad I would guess Citation Dad is one incredible person. Thanks for the great vids.

Great video! In a former life, I was the VP Finance for Bermuda Star Line. It IS a beautiful island. I’ve been there nearly 20 times, but my last visit was in 2005, so it’s been quite awhile. I took a picture in the City Hall, in the exact same spot, from 1978 to 2005, so I have a collage of myself in my 20s until I became an AARP member 😁

Nice video. Bermuda isn't in tropical zone ( the Caribbean) but it is indeed a lovely destination and the people have that distinctive way of speaking.

Steve's insight on the Dash 8 was cool to hear. I always have enjoyed riding as a passenger on them. They are comfortable for a turbo prop airliner.

It always amazes me how quickly that jet goes from a roll and in no time is ready to rotate and get off the ground. It just seems so effortless as compared to other aircraft. Really enjoy the videos ✔

I think about a pilot briefing before setting off; making sure my brakes work, loading up the sat nav and making sure I know my route, checking left and right before pulling onto a runway, I mean road! Nice greasy landing! I'm SoCal born and raised but I love driving and flying in the rain! I also love breakouts from clouds to sunshine! Good stuff! P.S. My son is an airline pilot and he started on the CRJs. He loved the 900 but the 200 was "gutless."

I’ve been learning to fly on X Plane flight simulator. Maybe one day I’ll look into getting my license. Off topic but the fact that you make a point to be so friendly with ATC I think goes a long way in making someone’s day. Especially in a high stress job like that, sometimes simply being asked how you’re doing can turn one’s day around. Good stuff!
