Flooding is going on all over Jamaica 🇯🇲 because of this weather until after the weekend..Be glad it wasn't a hurricane. The Flooding in New York City was worse than this..

I hope that the MP rectifies this problem before these people next time are washed out at sea. Protection of the residence is paramount and not just votes. I called upon the people to relocate to higher ground. I am sure that no MPs will live in these areas. People should demand better from the government so that they can live comfortably.

The highway contributed to the flooding of these areas. Not much engineering study was done to what would happen up and down stream. I thank all Christians who prayed that this depression would not hit us. Can you imagine if the depression had hit us and came in the night?

Thank God for the rain? More money has to be spent on the drainage system in St Thomas. They have to build a Gully system to handle the volume of water.

I appreciate these updates to see the changes made since I was there in March 2023. I have a question though. Are the parts of the highways built by CHEC affected by the rains in the same way and the road improvement section under the control of local contractors? Surely, there must be one standard of build and preparation to avoid this definition of madness (doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result). This is a cash-cow - wake up somebody. We're using backward methods of paving the roads before installing proper drainage structures.

I was in Florida in April and rain was falling..even the airport was flooded out and had to be closed for 2 days...i missed my connection flight..all roads were impassable..so this is nothing special
