With decks like these what you gotta keep in mind is that you can forcefully put energy in the discard pile abusing high retreat costs of your pokemon. During the first game where you were a couple energy short of KO-ing the charizard, if you had replaced the dead heatran with the other benched heatran instead of going straight into the fish, then attached 4 energy on it while also ultra balled the two energy you already had in hand, the basculegion would have one shotted the bastard.

Day 93! So… dialga’s star chronos literally has text that says skip pokemon checkup. To no one’s surprise, live is bugged. On a lighter note, I love the thumbnail! The art coming out of the cards looks great!

Wondered why so few people on limitless were playing palafin because it’s a pretty decent deck. Cooked up what I thought was a fire deck and played it twice. After not being able to play half the cards in my hand and the other half being palafin I now understand.

I cooked up a palafin with the greninja that searches whatever you want and dundunsparse. Runs pretty well but I’m only in ultra ball so there’s that

Been in arc for a couple months. It blows my mind that nobody has thought to play it with palkia and radiant greninja . Seems like the perfect partnership and you always have the option of moonlight shrunken from nowhere.

One of the problem when playing this kind of deck is enemy always target your basculegion and ignore the big attacker in the middle- late game, really miss energy recycler

Thats why you need to have one heatran build with energy so opponent can’t ignore it. If you keep a lonely heatran on bench they will likely snipe the basc because it will return the energy anyways.

Metang is actually the savior of the format

I played this deck and beat charizard ex. It was a crazy intense battle and I even lost 2 rods on the first research (I had to opponent had gotten a charizard). Yet somehow i still managed to win.

This deck is mentalll, also lived watching a zard get popped by BEAM

Thorton what out? Thorton only works on basics and both basculegion and metang are stage 1

@@creeshus1001 you can thorton a heatran into a basculin and since the turns carry over to the new pokemon, evolve it straight into basculegion in the same turn.

For Star Chronos, doesn't it say "Skip Pokemon Checkup" after the move? I think PTCGL was wrong there for applying the burn, no?

That is the smallest deck image I’ve seen. It’s little variety but lots of copies and super consistent!

It's much easier and quicker going from basic to stage 1, especially since cards like TM Evolution and Hyper Aroma (and some other freak picks like Salvatore) make it so you can have your Metangs set up by your second turn if the hand's right.

Just wanna note that you can use heavy baton with Heatran. 2 copies would be solid

Possibly, but I think more retreat options is more important just in case they try to trap a heatran in the active and you haven't recycled the energy with bascuilligeon.

This is pretty insane…

I said the same thing too abt the energy thing, extra steps paid devs just to make the putting of energy longer. This might have to do w pokemon going DEI. As always great vid sean!

Your videos were prime, but I noticed one major difference. Is it Sean or Shawn… not sure the spelling. But that guy never apologized for his flaws, his illnesses, the way he talked, goofy things he said, or his personality. And then I noticed something that showed me it wasn’t BS- Among the more modest and genuine channels I’m subscribed to with a million plus peeps, I see authentic, unapologetic, and truly unique KZreadrs with such one-of-a-kind personalities with all of their unusual mental states and characters with flaws that everybody loves because we all secretly wish we could be ourselves to the world and end up depressed, addicted, self-conscious, on that bandwagon identity mentality, whatever- because we can’t.
