Good to see you! My favorite garter stitch blanket is the Habitation throw. I thought about Kay's Jelly Roll, but will save that one for the next round of scraps.

I love the Habitation Throw as well! I’ve knit two of them. I was wanting something larger, although it would be easy to adapt that pattern to be larger as well.

I know this video is 8 months old, but so many things you spoke about I can relate 100% My oldest, a daughter graduated from high school in May. She chose to go to a local university and live at home. She also has a lot of anxiety about driving and still does not have a license even though she did Driver's Ed twice. I have 4 children ages 18 to 7. I also prefer to do simple knitting projects. Because I spend a lot of time driving kids to and from school, I do a lot of car knitting while I wait for the kids. I have to be able to put down my knitting quickly. So, simple projects like hats, bags and garter stitch blankets are the best for this time in my life. I hope that the past 8 months have been both celebratory and healing for you.

Hi, Heather. It’s good to see you again. I get that you crave garter stitch knitting… I’m on dish rags for now. My next project will be lacy ankle socks for my daughter. You are not alone… March is a difficult month for lots of folks. The longer days and warm weather helps me. Take care❤️

Dish rags are a great small garter project! I am looking forward to nicer weather for sure!

,” for lack of a better word, and finding a place to belong and grow and give of yourself is wonderful! I’m sorry the March was so hard. I think I’m coming out of a similar faze. It’s frustrating when people need you and need things from you. Be kind to yourselves and rest when you need to. (Like there is another option when your body takes over! 😂)

Yikes! The front half of that comment was something about Abby and how high school can feel “unimportant.” Sheesh.

You are right about high school and I think that is just how she feels. She was never able to really have good friends from her school because of circumstances beyond her control. But I am glad she has found something that makes her excited.

Hi do you chance have a tutorial on how to do the pinwheel? I purchased the pattern but it’s so hard to understand. Thanks!
