Treated by Children's orthopedic surgeon Dr. Vivek Dutt and sports medicine physician Dr. Natalie Ronshaugen, Heather was diagnosed with a type of hip dysplasia that required hip preservation surgery. The procedure restores the natural anatomy of the hip joint to avoid premature hip arthritis and the need for an early hip replacement. Now in her senior year of high school, Heather is pain free and back to her active lifestyle with a bright future ahead.
