I'm actually stoked on how well you did on this hike. That belch near the beginning got my kitten's attention. I was setting up my watch to measure the water temperature when you pointed the camera at me. 52 degrees. Glad that JVC, which I used as my first dash cam, is holding up. Sony Vegas doesn't do it justice, though. It'll look a lot better with DaVinci. I could never get the quality right with Sony with that camera.

What elevation were you at, to see a patch of snow in practically July? I would give anything for that cool, damp and foggy weather right now! It's 108, sun baking everything, low humidity and miserable. I spent hours watering everything in our yard and trying to keep my crops from developing leaf scorch, while probably racking up an insane water bill in the land of water shortages. Maybe someday wife and I can move somewhere where the summers are more damp and cool.

It's a little over 2,400 feet near the lake. This trail's on the way to Pilchuck.
