Poor Bob! 😢 I didn't cry until Bob said that he told him off for leaving his trainers lying around being the last thing he said to him. That's what got me!

i always felt bad for Heath, he was overlooked and never got any attention because it was always about Cathy, if cathy wasn’t so bad then bob would’ve trusted them at the party, he could’ve taken them and heath would’ve survived

Not just “don’t drive irresponsibly” more don’t steal someone’s car when you’re underage & put yourself & other people at risk

I think the girls may have swapped and Angel was driving at the time of the crash. Be interesting to see how it plays out. The actress playing Cathy did a good job at showing how someone in shock reacts. It's completely normal to be in something like that and not be hysterically crying. Good on April for not following the crowd and deciding to not get in the car.

I dont watch emmerdale anymore but this one was sad he seemed like a really good kid 😢

That was so sad cathy was responsible Bob and Brenda crying at the end was heart breaking two brilliant actors .....l really hope this sends a message out to young people who have not got a car licence and joy riders how this can end in tradgedy😢

Brenda raised Heath and Cathy like her own after their mother Viv died and even after her and Bob broke up. They are her kids

5:32 and 8:26 - That's me! Having to keep that secret for three months was excruciatingly hard. But I had the most wonderful time as an extra in those moments and I want to thank Emmerdale for this amazing opportunity 👏❤

That was Heart wrenching

Poor Emmerdale can't seem to do anything these days without some people complaining... These things happen in real life... If Emmerdale "only" showed people sitting around, drinking tea, smelling the roses and talking about how great life is, that would be so boring and uneventful, no-one would watch. No-one is actually killed when these things happen... IT'S NOT ACTUALLY REAL!

Bob still has April (Grandaughter) Cathy as present family but off screen that left a while ago in the soap: Jamie Hope, Josh Hope, Scott Hope, Kelly Windsor, Roxy Lockhart(Daughter), Carly Hope, and Jean Tate, TJ (Dawns Son) quite a lot of potential possibilities around recasts or returns.

Lets hope we see another scene between Moira and Bob like when Moira lost Holly. After all Moira knows what its like to lose a child

Heath deserved better.. he was always in the background of everything... during the Arthur and Marshall coming out story he was always so supportive of Arthur.. I was always hoping he and Arthur would become a thing

Poor guy just seems to have started showing up more now they killed him off 🥴

Theroy: Angelica was driving 1) Cathy up till that point had made a point to drive carefully 2) Before they cut away from them they made comments of swapping drivers 3) Made a point of showing the two girls out of the car before anyone arrived 4) Less predictable story and a greater twist 5) Provides a storyline for Angelica who hasn't had one in a while 6) Cathy is already seen as the easy person to blame so will likely take the fall to protect her friend, especially as she came up with the idea to steal the car Probably wrong knowing my luck but definitely not out of the question 😂

I didn't know the twins are siblings in real life Sebastian and Gabrielle Dowling. Like I said last year. Emmerdale is now only about death, tragedies and illnesses. Someone has to deal with cancer and some other character struggling with parkinson's or dementia.

Poor Heath 😢Poor Bob😢, Absolutely gutting! That's the best acting I've ever seen from Brenda. Never understood her character before but she was first class here with her reactions but I'm with Bob on this one. I wouldn't be able to look at Cathy 😕😔. My parents aren't abusive but if I did that to my brother they'd kick my head off. Looks like Cathy is only thinking about herself in the scenes Not even a single sorry from her. 😮😢

What a ridiculous comment. Whilst I'm aware that this is a soap and none of this is real, some of the comments on soap storylines are ridiculous. However preventable this character's death was,it was still an accident & Cathy is still a minor. Her father should definitely not turn his back on his child. She hasn't set out to kill him,all three of them entered that car at their own free will, in fact Heath and Angelica were pressuring Cathy to increase the speed and caused her to lose her concentration on the road,which more than likely caused the crash. Cathy will be devastated by the loss of her twin, nevermind the fact she caused his death by her actions. Bob will probably blame Cathy being that she survived and Heath didn't. He will not have the hindsight the viewer has of the conversations that took place in the car before the crash happened. Whether there will be flashbacks to the actual impact we will find out and Cathy will have to face the consequences of her lawbreaking and also carry this with her. Grief will take this storyline on many paths but ultimately Bob will hopefully support Cathy through the legalities eventually
