Used in my car successfully for couple of months then stopped heating bought another 2 though not as cheaply as you mentioned but through amazon.

Bro, 1A is not enough for this mug. That is a test fail, you should have had a PSU at least able to provide 8A. You see there is another model that can heat up to 100c and it uses 70w, 70w at 12v is 5.8A. So this one that heats up to around 65C would at least need 3A. Hooking it up to a 1A power supply means you are only giving is a tiny 12W of power, lol.

If you don't have a more powerful PSU then you could have just put an inline 3 dollar amp meter in the wire and then connected it in your car as usual, the display in line would show you the amp draw. The total amp draw of this mug probably isn't going all the time either, once it reached 65c then it would turn off and probably turn back on in 15 minutes or so to maintain temperature etc.

It's done from a couple of hours hhh don't worry man, I have bought an ac 12V adapter, that last make it perfect for use during working in front of my laptop hh thanks bro
