    Bayern' broad of directors are a group of troublesome assholes. Head coach must have good personal relation skill to please those old seafood. Nagelsmann isn't that kind of person. Unfortunately Tuchel is also not that type of person. Tuchel will be out soon the same reasons as Nagelsmann.

    That sacking feels weird. It just doesn't make much sense. A coach doesn't just get fired 2 months before the end of the season just based on play style. Nagelsmann still could have finished the season with many silverwares. It would be funny to see Tuchel win the UCL again, finishing another coache's run.

    Gab has a point. Bayern have done well under nagelsmann so far. Winning every single champions league game this season and only conceeding 2 goals, also have the chance to go back top of the table in they beat dortmund after the international break. and to get thomas tuchel who is a very pragmatic manager makes no sense for bayern munich. Nagelsmann sacking has to be related to something off the pitch because he's results dont deserve this.

Nagelsmann did very bad at Bayern so far, the first season was mediocre for Bayern and this season he had problems everywhere in the team, he had a good run in UCL but we were playing really bad the second half. And that's the same thing that happened the last season, great first half and poor second half. Gab is at his most arrogant and condescending when arguing with Stevie - there seems to be a genuine dislike between them that isn't part of the show's usual banter. He's not. He's just saying that it's not unusual for a club to hire a manager, sign him to a multi-year deal, sour on him, become interested in another big name manager, continue to support they're current manager to the press, then fire that current manager in order to sign the other big name manager before another team does. This happens all the time in all sports.

    Gab is saying the truth! I’ve been saying the same thing. This is personal! Even if they wanted to get Tuchel immediately, they could have signed him up immediately, but to start at the end of the season, which is just two months away! I believe the reason why they didn’t do this was because this would give Naglemsan the chance to win a treble which he still had a very very good chance of winning. And if he won a treble it would make it even more awkward firing him.

    Things can of course change in 1+ year. Before they signed him and had him working for the club he was hailed as tactical genius and the biggest coaching talent in Germany. For Brazzo and Kahn it was the perfect signing to signal the arrival of the new leadership at the club. Turn the clock 1 year forward and Bayern has finished a pretty poor season (by their standards) and got knocked out of UCL by Villarreal. Players and the leadership was already viewing Nagelsmann in a different light, and his margin of error before a possible sacking was slashed considerably. Fast forward 9 months and they sack him. Why? The team is scrapping through (again by their standards) in the league and the UCL. Brazzo's big signings on high wages are being benched (Mane and Cancelo), some of their biggest wage-players are benched (Sane & Gnabry) and the old guard is either benched or are open hostile towards Nagelsmann (Müller & Neuer), and skateboarding manager Nagelsmann is dating a tabloid reporter (as the clubs is struggling with media leaks) and making everything about himself in media and press conferences. There probably wasn't 1 clear thing behind the sacking, but the build-up of frustration against a manager not suited to the Bayern model and Kahn and Brazzo owning up to the fact they got it wrong then and try to get it right now with Tuchel (with the aded benefit that they know believe the remaining of the season can be safely guided to multiple titles). This is the club who had no problem sacking Ancelotti a couple of months into his second season (after having won the title in his first season) when the team's perrformance was judged as lackluster, they of course went on and won the league that year as well...

    Gab is absolutely right Thomas Tuchel would never take the Spurs or Madrid job before Bayern, Kahn and Salihamizic threw Nagelsmann under the bus.

  • @jtse09
    @jtse097 ай бұрын

    1:55 why isn't this plausible? nagelsmann was not favorable in the team as a whole. tuchel might get poached by other teams or he might get offers that will push bayern to compete. If you know who you want and want to lock them in, you give them an all or nothing offer on the spot. how is that implausible? it's clear that stevie knows more of the actual politics than what the results are reflecting. regardless if this a good or bad decision for bayern, it's real and undeniably present. for some reason gab refuses to understand how politics play a part and throws a fit because of it

    Why did they sack him? Kahn & Salihamidzic already told in the press conference: Bayern was leading with 10 points until the world cup. This year they did not find continuety, there were ups and downs. 5 wins 5 losses Now instead 10 points in front they´re 1 point behind Dortmund. Also Nagelsmann lacks maturity when it comes to answering questions at press conference, and worse he oversteps his responsibility and several times annoyed management. Also not using Cancelo regularly was a concern. Still, I think Nagelsmann can grow and bring some success to Tottenham! He´s only 35 also!

    Moles giving tactics to Journalists - disrespect of Sane not showing up on time and Nagelsmann just 'laughing' it away - the Manuel Neuer story - Cancelo benching - no improvement of Gravenberch & Tel.... And they dropped ten points....I mean what should the Management do? Just "pray" that everything works out? No. Bayern with this team should be 12 Points ahead in the Bundesliga.

    Gab wanting more to the story to create headline. Gab doesn’t watch German football to see how poor Bayern have been. The club see the chance to win a treble and a manger who has been outclassed in the league. The leverkusen Bayern were out played for 90% of the game. This can go badly for the club but atleast they saw bad results reacted.

    Something happened behind the scenes that we may or may never find out later. That’s the only explanation that makes sense. You cannot beat PSG (one of the favourites) convincingly like he did and get sacked a few days later. Bundesliga is a piece of cake no matter how close it looks right now.
