This is really well explained, i loved how you approached the topic though the 'reason' why heat stroke and exhaustion happens and then proceeded towards treatment. That was really cool! THANKS!

For whichever reason for the past 2 flights I've just started showing extreme signs of heat exhaustion. Thankfully I watched this video and realized that if I use the fan above me my body starts to feel better. I'll start bringing more water and hydrating way more before and during my flights from now on.

I got heat exhaustion and was chugging bottles of Evian and still maintained serious dehydration for two days, it was scarey and all my muscles ached and it was hard to get to my feet and at the end of one day I was shivering almost convulsively. I went to sleep and slept for 20 hours. It took me a week to get rid of it.

I have a seizure disorder and without medication, cold water and hot water could both cause me to have seizures. I take Phenobarbital for my seizures. I have noticed in myself that for the first few minutes that I am in cold weather my blood vessels dilate and cause my skin to become more red in areas that wouldn't normally be red. Is this vasodilation in the cold for the first few minutes why ice works so well for cooling off regardless of whether you have heatstroke or are just hot and sweaty?

Blood pressure and pulse are not the same thing. Usually your bp will drop and your pulse increases.
