The plates are quite sharp hence there is risk of hand injury. Wearing safety gloves to handle the bare plate if a safe way of removing the plates and also when installing the plates.

👍 I cleaned these heat exchangers when I worked power plants in Pakistan,I believed it’s NKR heat exchangers, look not bad conditions as compared to heat exchangers in interior Sindh water quality was bad.
Interesting watch and well documented! We do heat exchanger maintenance in Poland. We've recently uploaded a video about it.

Why use pipe wrench?...this is not standart tool for open the nut,better use ring spanner/sludge spanner like man yellow shirt👍
