After two years of waiting to return to China to visit the foster family that raised her for the first 10 years of her life, we were finally able to make the journey back to spend a week in Penelope's hometown and it was AMAZING!!! Wow!!! This couple is doing an amazing job!!! Look at what Almighty God has blessed them with!!!! Such a beautiful family!! I myself was adopted and grew up in a big and mixed family like this. I am enjoying watching every single one of your videos. It reminds me of when I was younger. P.S.....I have a challenge for all of you....whenever you can, you should take time and read the whole bible cover to cover. I mean if you have not already done so. I think if you actually studied the bible very closely you would find some interesting things.....

Penelope’s foster mom seems like such a kind hearted person. You can definitely see that she has a big heart for children. Penelope is blessed to have had so much love both on her Chinese and American life.

There are no words that could even come close to describing the rollercoaster of emotions that we have been on this past week in Napo! Becoming one big family with all of these amazing women who cared for Penny for SO LONG and love her so much!!! What an amazing blessing and joy and honor and privilege!😭😭😭😭

Oh yeah they should go to Ethiopia next time although I was grown up in Ethiopia they still have to tour us, I also spoke a little bit of Ethiopia language I use to speak influences but I forgot it as soon I arrived here in USA, Ethiopia language was my three language when I lived back in Africa, my first language is somail and my second language was English although it was British accent, when I came here USA my three language changed to Spanish when I arrived Kansas,city I remember I was only 11 years old back then stare go to school in 6th grade here in USA, sadly forgot my three language and then a few years latter forgotten my first language, so yeah now I only speak English, and little bit Spanish.

I cannot say enough about this family. Ethan with his "I'm gonna marry you" and says each of his family members. A child's innocence is truly one of the most beautiful things in our world. That's HIS 5 year old mind saying "I love you the most in the world". Kiera, so amazing how much she has changed in the past year. Such a pretty young girl. Penelope, oh my goodness, the changes in her. Her smile and eyes radiate love and happiness. Reese, the always guaranteed to make you smile & laugh, girl! The quirky, cool, care free spirited funny girl! Weird. But in the BEST sense of the word. The reason why "weird" is a great thing. It's what makes you stand out! I love it!! Lincoln with his zest for life. Look how far he's come. Almost walking on his own. Made by God with consideration that Lincoln has a mission in our world. He's teaching us all we need to slow down. I love how comfortable Lincoln looks in the carrier, like he recognized the position as comforting enough to fall asleep in. So many cultures carry their children in their backs like that.

Continuing watching a bunch of older videos because they make me smile but I love how much the foster mom loves all the children, you can tell how much she cares for children. Her walking and holding liams hand shows how comfortable she made the children feel. What a special lady 💜

It's so nice and quite heartwarming seeing how happy Penelope is being back home where she spent the first 12 years of her life and being surrounded by the people who raised her during her time in China. Also seeing both her foster as well as adoptive (forever) families coming together and enjoying each others company while reminiscing on Penelope's years in China was touching. Stephen and Amanda, you two prove more and more what such amazing people you are. Staying true to your promise to bring Penelope back to her home country to see all the things and people she had grown accustomed to, and also bringing Lincoln along to also see where his from to keep them in tune/touch with their heritage and culture proves just how much you love your kids and would do anything for them. Your overflowing love never ceases to amaze me. And for both Penelope and Lincoln to experience this journey with the entire family makes it even more special. I just love you guys... as a couple, as parents, as a family and individuals. Lastly, Lincoln progress continues to amaze me. It makes me proud to see him continuing to grow and improve in each video. The fact he actually took a few steps without any assistance at all filled my heart with so much joy. Soon he'll be take even bigger steps. Keep up the good work buddy. Your progress is impressive and brings a smile to each of our (Miller subs) faces.

My open adoption case is very open, more so than a lot of people. Penelope will always have her memories and can travel to her foster mother when she gets older. Lincoln unfortunately will not have any of those but will love his parents he has now who will rear him up with all his disabilities. I think they deserve the credit for him.

I’m the child of an open adoption and love the connection I get to share with both sides of my birth family. Adoption is such an amazing thing, and I’m so proud to say it’s a major part of my life.

At least unlike Lincoln she will be able to travel back to see them when she gets older but she has fitted into your loving home very well with all her sisters and brothers.
