There is a Special place in whatever HELL you believe in for people that hurt or abuse animals and at the other end of the scale there is a Special place in whatever you believe to be HEAVEN for the marvellous people that care for and about them❤

My husband is one of the sweetest soft spoken and loving men you’ll ever meet but hurt an animal in front of him and OMG it’s like switch gets flipped and his evil twin appears. And he is really scary when it happens. He’s almost gone to jail protecting an animal and has personally put people in jail by reporting their abuse Just one of the many reasons I married him!

Awww! These are so sweet! That lapful of golden 4:24... I can almost smell that sweet puppy smell right through the screen! I hope Milo has no more accidents. I'm loving the creative art using vet wrap! I'll have to try that on myself next time I sprain something. I have goats, and I love romping and playing with them, so I sometimes twist an ankle or fall on a wrist. Today I'm wearing my arm sling because I tore my right rotator cuff over a year ago and it never healed, now when I over-use that arm I hurt for days. Worth it though, because yesterday I made a month's worth of homemade healthy dog food for my 12 year old border collie who is my very heart. It was the lifting of heavy pots (I cook chicken and organ meats in a gigantic 90 year old pressure cooker) and stirring that enormous batch in a large tub did me in! Joey the Wonderdog is worth the pain, so I'll do it again next month. Too bad my Medicaid health insurance doesn't pay for therapies like the cold laser that sweet floofy bunny is getting, I can't even get an xray done. Dr. told me it would heal on its own... over a year ago.😒

So sorry about all you’ve gone through! Feel very lucky that I live in UK and have the NHS to pay for things. Admittedly nowadays we do have longer waiting lists, but still free.

@@kirstymackenzie2437 I think the US is the only industrialized nation who doesn't have some kind of universal healthcare. In my country, poor people like me who receive any government benefits are despised. Doesn't matter that I worked from age 15 until I became disabled in my 40s and paid into social security. They don't blame the greedy billionaires who receive millions in corporate "welfare", they choose to hate me and my disabled son for the $275 in food assistance we get a month. That's less than $10 a day to feed BOTH of us, but sure... we're the problem.🙄 Gotta say, KZread is the greatest help I've ever found. I have learned how to cook good food on that $10 a day, and even grow some vegetables in pots. Things like potatoes and onions are ridiculously easy to grow. I'll even cook wild mustard greens, and make delicious jelly from manzanita berries that grow in abundance where I live. My 90 year old Depression era pressure cooker is designed for canning, and does great. I wish I had the talent to make interesting videos about how we live, but it takes real talent to do that. I have short vids of my baby goats and Joey, the Wonderdog, and some wildlife but there's 1000s of fellow off-gridders who have channels much better than mine. I learn so much from them! The so-called "free healthcare" I receive helps by paying for necessary medications, but I have no access to benefits I am entitled to receive, such as pap smears and mammograms. Medicaid will pay for those, but the loophole is that doctors are not obligated to take Medicaid, so very few do. If I want to see a GYN, the closest one is 120 miles away. I made an appointment, and was going to take 3 busses to get there (not free), but they called the morning of my appointment and cancelled me because the doctor had an "emergency" patient. I call BS, because those tests are done by Physician assistants these days. My adult son has schizophrenia and can't work. He had served in the US Navy for a year when his symptoms appeared. He was given an honorable discharge because his commanding officer recognized that he was ill, not insubordinate. In fact, he was doing extra work no one asked for. In his mind, he was getting secret assignments from a 4 star general who was based in a secret bunker 6 stories underground, in the Arizona desert! Sorry, I know that nobody asked for my long, weird story! I'm just so grateful to our beloved animals who give us the unconditional love that makes life enjoyable. I'm also glad that 20 years ago, back when I had money, I invested it in my off-grid property in the mountains. My living expenses are lower than the cheapest one bedroom apartment so I'll live here as long as possible. Every day here is a new adventure!😃🌄

@@LazyIRanch Hey there, i just read your comments and am about to say the same as Kristy. It saddens me deeply that in the US the Healthcare- situation is so hard, especially for those who are not on the (financially) sunny side. There seems to be no real safety net and thats really unfair. I mean: every citizen in your country is only one accident/serious illness away from losing their job (therefore no income, no healthcare provider...) and this situation is frightening! I hope you're able to plant as much veggies/fruits as possible over time. Potatoes and onions are a really good start, you can really be proud! Maybe you can plant some Trees, too? Apples, Cherries, Pears maybe? Oh, and the video made me happy and sad at the same time. Sad bc THIS was my job! I loved to work as a vet.nurse for many years, but had to retire bc of chronic pain - and i miss my job SO much! But my job also gave me the most amazing pets (sometimes the owner wanted them to get euthanized bc of disabilities/illness or they couldn't care for them anymore - so i took them home with me) and they bring me so much joy everyday! I really hope, your Situation gets better and easier over time and i surely wish you the best of luck with your gardening! Best and heartfelt wishes from Germany 🌻

As a vet of thirty years, I still wonder why people think it’s funny when their pet bites the vet (or technician, or anyone). Do you have any idea how many people who work at animal hospitals get sick from cat bites? One of my associates was out for two months from Cat Scratch Fever and had to have two lymph nodes removed. Not so damn funny when it happens to you.
