While I would absolutely love the ´I love you’ exchange between Nick and Charlie, I am very glad we still get the classic ‘Hi’😁❤❤

This show and the book has helped so many young lgbtqia+ kids including me feel safe and find comfort in our own identities despite all the hate for us out in the world. Alice Oseman will go down as one of the best queer icons in history for creating Heartstopper💖

No show has ever come close to impacting me as hard as this one… seeing a good bi male role model in a show was exactly what I needed 3 years ago, when I was starting to doubt my identity. But seeing a portrayal that I could actually relate to for once instead of oversexualized tropes was really helpful in setting me straight (no pun intended)

Not just Heartstopper, have you read the other stuff they did? Loveless is amazing and really explores asexuality and being aromantic (not sure what the noun for that is), I think everyone should read it. Solitaire centers around Tori and it's actually the first book where Nick and Charlie appear (also the first book she wrote). I'm not going into what the other books are about, but they all take place in the same universe and while not all of them center around queerness, all of them have prominent queer characters and a generally diverse cast and I personally really like how they are written. I'm so thankful Heartstopper got picked up by Netflix not just because of the impact it had itself, but also because it introduced many of us to Alice Oseman's work

i wanna say thanks to heartstopper, i am a lgbtqia+ teen and i watched heartstopper at the very beginning of me reasling who i was. It was there when i wasnt sure who i was, it was there when i didnt like my self for who i was. It was there to teach me that i could be myself, that i was worthy of love and that its all okay. That i could be me, that being me wasnt a bad thing, that i should rejoice and not hide myself. becasue i am enough, and you are to.

Maybe use that time to talk to someone about it. There is so much to live for in this world, don't give up too quickly, please. Try to stop living the life you don't like and figure out what kind of life you'd like. If that means leaving some people behind, do it.
