This song is so amazing!!! I have literally listened to it on infinite repeat since last Thursday night (except for today, when I was listening to the instrumental track on infinite repeat, switching off between singing Joe's and Andrew's harmonies!) I have been sharing this song with everyone I meet and have been playing it on the piano every chance I get (because you truly understand us musical theatre dorks and offered us both the piano music and the instrumental track for sale immediately, for which I am infinitely grateful!!!) And when I played your video for a friend of mine last weekend, she said, "Please tell me this is a musical and you and I are going to go see it together!" 😁😁 I can't wait to see what you guys write next!!! Thank you (and Jacob, Joe, and Andrew) so much for sharing your talents with the world--you all have made my life insanely happy for the past week (and will continue to do so in the future, I'm sure!)

Ok… now I’m FULLY convinced that this NEEDS to be a musical with Andrew and Joe playing Charlie and Nick respectively…🥹😭🙏🏼

Yeah, when they released the 1-minute teaser for this song, I was like "This is so Heartstopper--I have to do a vid!" and literally started doing the edit within an hour of the song dropping!

Why did I only hear this song recently?? And it perfectly fits Nick and Charlie like hello??

I hadn't even thought of that but yes, I definitely could! Joe Serafini is just so amazing, and HSMTMTS & Heartstopper are my two comfort shows as well! Do you have any suggestions for The Climb? Like, should it be from Nick's or Charlie's point of view, or more general like having Elle & Tao, etc., as well? I'm not sure what would go better with the lyrics.

@@phoebenpiper For someone’s point of view, I was thinking it could be Charlie’s. But it’s up to you. I’d love for that happen someday. Seb and Carlos from HSMTMTS and Nick and Charlie from Heartstopper are my comfort characters and helps bring joy into my life whenever life is crappy, and gives me strength to face it. This would really show that appreciation.

I write both HSMTMTS & Heartstopper fanfic, mostly Seb/Carlos & Nick/Charlie-centric, all in the styles of both shows (i.e., canon). I even wrote a fic of the HSMTMTS characters watching Heartstopper & one of the Heartstopper characters watching HSMTMTS because I'm a dork.
