Heartleaf philodendrons are beautiful and easy-care plants that are perfect for both beginners and experienced plant owners. They are also very easy to propagate, making them a great way to add more plants to your collection or share with friends and family.
In this video, we will go over the entire process of propagating heartleaf philodendrons in water, from cutting the vine to potting the new plant in soil. We will also cover the materials you will need and provide some tips for success.
Materials Needed:
* Sharp scissors or shears
* Clean plastic jar or vase
* Room temperature water set out for 2 days
* Well-draining custom potting mix
* Small pot with drainage holes
* Cuttings

    Is there a minimum length you recommend trimming them to? Also, does 3 seem to be a good number to pot together once they’ve grown roots?

    I like 6" to 8" lengths. Plant will fill out faster, and if you plant 3 cuttings together, that would be awesome. She will fill out even faster still. 😀🪴
