A note for Samira - it's not 6 cards in 1 turn, but 6 cards in 2 turns for the level-up, then 6 cards while she's on the board (turn count does not matter) for you to rally.

@@kinht.7811 I guess I was remembering misadventures with Garen and Samira, how he kept resetting the counter with "Round Start: Rally", as well as that nexus power in PoC who gives you rally because I expected it would be a good idea but it wasn't. In short, she resets when you have a "Round Start: Rally", meaning the nexus has an effect of "Round Start: If you have the attack token, Rally" if they are threaten as equals.

It is only 6 cards in 2 turns if the attack token isn't transferring to you. Which is kind of wacky

"How easy it is to play six cards in a turn", says the man who plays HS, a game with a class whose entire gameplay nowadays is playing half its deck in a turn. No, really, the first time I played with Samira, it felt exactly like playing rogue, it was absurd.

Rarrans guess on Jack was really funny to me, he was close on the powerlevel, but his reasoning is the complete opposite of whats actually the case. Jack is played because he is a good card, he is a support champ that baits removal, makes value and has decent stats, leveling him is never your gameplan, he just helps you achieve it

Love this series! Have you considered glancing at the champions' support packages and/or watching the reveal trailers for the champions to get a better sense of how they work in practice? It seems like some of the more mechanically complex champions (like coins or samira in this case) would've benefitted a lot from you seeing the kind of cards they got released with before rating

So glad to see this series back. Love you guys together.

Rarran should react to more non-champion cards. I really love for him to see old Jack.

Also, don't forget Samira/Leona, the natural evolution of Katarina/Leona. Samira is just Noxian Akshan, and Akshan is considered borderline busted.

As someone who knows what you're talking about, yeah it would be an accurate comparison in theme. Basically Sett and Jack are two of the best fighters in the pit and the kings of their own rings.

Lv.1 Samira have 2 turn limit to leveling but her Lv.2 does not have any turn limit

Since Jack release, only deck he's super strong is Jack, Seraphine and Marai contreol OTK, nothing else, but anyway this deck has ability to beat every single deck in game so i wound say Jack is really strong card without question. I love this card so much.

Jack/Jarvan has seen play too, but that's less so for the Coin play pattern (Jack never levels in that deck) and more so Elites with a sprinkling of Brash.

Yea, really wished there was a deck where he and the Nukkle combo are the main wincon Sett just works better with Karma; I tried building one with Flashbombs and Caitlyn (Prize fight on Caitlyn is pretty good), but Seraphine with Jack is also way better. He is a solid card, solid stats, good keyword, generates a coin on hit.

I think they keep seeing Jack in a deck where he’s the standalone champion rather than a support champion. Jack is just a value generator that can be turned into a finisher, not really a standalone champion

Sett can be very frustrating to lane against, Kled's my favorite pick against him. Once you both hit level three Sett just can't compete with Kled's base damage, lets you gain a pretty substantial lead if Sett doesn't respect the matchup.

Range in general destroys Sett, and so does short trades. That being said, is kinda unintuitive to deal with and is definitely a noob stomper.

Releasing new cards becomes impossible after a certain point because every card puts constraints on all of the cards that come after. If you dont rotate/ban cards the game will very quickly devolve into turn 3 otks and unbeatable tier 0 decks that will play rock paper scissors.

You can still play standard though. Although you'll be seeing Nora leveling in turn 3 and 2 or 1 turn/s leveling of Twisted Fate.

It kinda is needed to keep the game in relative balance though. They can't just add cards that are worse than the existing ones all the time. New cards needs to be strong and exciting. If the old strong cards are all available too, then they would easily break the game.

Rotation was the worst thing they ever did to this game.
