When Kibler says, "Your turn~", you know you should hit concede already. Also, Kibler being a fucking alpha: "But it didn't work out because his guy is too small!"

I normally love the classical music but as someone who's worked through close to 40 showings of the Nutcracker this music gave me war flashbacks.

The Warlock missed the patch where all Murloc buffing effects were made one player side only. Warleader and other things used to buff ALL murlocks in play.

Except for Old Murc Eye. He still is buffed by every Murloc on board. Because he's Wild. But Blizzard doesn't care about the Wild Format so why would they make consistent changes to things that would be consistent?

  • @TheSquareOnes

+BlueRiging As I recall the reasoning for the change was that some players (read: morons) found it unintuitive that their warleaders and the like would sometimes be a liability by buffing the opponent's murlocs which made the game less fun for them, so instead of letting those horrible players leave they changed how the game worked. Old Murk-Eye is technically in line with that mindset, since it doesn't benefit the opponent. If they have murlocs it actually makes your Murk-Eye even better and since dumb people do find that fun it gets to stay in the game. You are probably correct that they don't care about wild at all but in this case I think it's more an issue of caring too much about the lowest common denominator in the player base. Which is a shame since the old murlocs were pretty fun to play around, I was running anyfin before the change and it was actually a relevant consideration since a rogue Sir Finley on the board could force some interesting tension in decision making. It's a minor loss to the tactics of the game but it's still silly that it was removed at all.

Your supposed to shuffle your hand in card games. It makes it harder for your opponent to know what's in your hand. The tactic is so common there used to be a Yugioh deck that's entire purpose was to take advantage of instinctual hand shuffling. It played a card that's effect was to discard the card that you opponent drew on their draw step, and because people would shuffle the new card into their hand by instinct they would have the judge called on them for cheating.

LucaShonen94 well the point of Onyxia is the token spawn for everyfin buff. Although another big dragon (as others suggest) replaces the statline / cost somewhat, I'd consider a card that capitalizes off of the token/buff and menagerie synergy. I know they are hard to find. I was lucky to pull Onyxia from this week's brawl pack, but if I didn't, I'd try around with probably Nefarian or indeed, Alexstrasza seems good. Maybe something crazy like stormwind champion for the murloc token buff.

That just has to do with when minion deaths are resolved. Finja's summon effect occurs before the "check if minion is dead" step. If this didn't happen this way, acolyte of pain would not draw a card when it takes lethal damage, as it would be dead before the card draw effect could occur.
