Abyssal Curse Warlock would've been "fun" with this, because your opponent is essentially forced to take the full damage of every Abyssal Curse since they're not allowed to get it out of their hand.

Rarran, you are what hearthstone desperately needed. These games are super entertaining and refreshing ❤

I will say, for Mayor Noggenfogger, it can only choose from among legal targets for the action. So for the attacks, they were all only 1 in 3 to hit face.

To clarify, when I say “legal,” I mean a target that you could in usual circumstances choose. For some reason Rush breaks this by being allowed to hit face, but Mayor Noggenfogger cannot force your minions to attack each other

He said that going first is good in this mode, but I think going first is actually horrible in this mode. When you go first, your opponent always gets the opportunity to kill your minions the turn they come into play - when you go 2nd you can play minions that have a "at the start/end of turn" effect and your opponent has to skip their next turn without getting any opportunity to remove it. Also, when you get to max mana faster, going first matters less (ie. the player going first normally gets the first turn at every mana cost from 1-10 except for one turn of the 2nd player's choice, but in this mode it's only the turns 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 except for one turn of the 2nd player's choice, which is a lot fewer turns where they get to play their higher mana cost cards first)

Try this: -Play always the card you draw in your turn or the card to the left of you don't have the mana -Play with an overlay that covers cards (hand, center minion, etc) -A deck with only even creatures and odd spells or vice versa -Play always attacking first before anything else

At 5:21 plays 2 dragons and the next turn plays more stuff, but tells LtEddy they have to skip their turn..

The odds are kinda tricky to calculate, because the experiments are not independent. For example if noggenfoger had hit the tiger and died rarran would have won. That being said if you calculate it as them all having to hit face and that they are independent, then it would be 1/27 or approximately 3%. That being said the 3 experiments are not independent and so the real formula would be much harder to calculate(maybe this is were the 0.137% comes from).

Building on this idea, One player runs odds and can only take turns on odd turns, and one player runs evens and can only take turns on even turns.

I think this concept is fun, and I think it can be expanded upon a bit by making it so instead of skipping every other turn, both players take 2 turns in a row back and forth, allowing for crazy stuff like 20 mana combos, and other stuff that isn't normally possible

Noggenfogger is actually kinda deceptive with the animations. Whenever you attack your opponent's stuff it can only ever attack enemies, it cant make you attack your own minions

It would maybe add more strategy if you would have gone like this: Player who goes first skip its first turn, then skip odd turns Player who goes second skin its second turn, then skip even turns Because skipping the same turn is just "draw 1 and gain 1 mana"

You should do a video where if you can't end your turn unless the end turn button is green (meaning if you can play a card, you have to).

diffrent idea odd mana =skip turn this way you can manipulate your own mana with cards that add max mana crytsals or remove it to be even mana next turn

I imagined the skipped turns would alternate. Like, whoever starts with coin is playing on even turns, and whoever went first is playing on odd turns. I think they're all interesting variations on this idea tho. Even hearthstone with universal ramp and double draw is still like, different enough to be interesting imo

Another idea for an Eddy challenge. You can either play cards or attack in a turn, but not both.

Friendly characters are not valid targets for attacks, only for spells and battlecry effects.

I'd actually argue that going second is WAY better than going first since you can have your end of turn trigger minions guaranteed to go off twice before the opponent is allowed to respond

Skipping every even turn makes barely a difference since THEY BOTH SKIP IT

This one has a huge flaw in the way you did it. Whoever goes 2nd gets guaranteed value from end/start of turn effects because both players need to pass while the person who goes first can be answered right on the following turn. To work around that, I think skipping a turn should mean you can play the next one, to change up that order. For example doing nothing on your first turn would allow you to play on your 2nd turn. That would also add the option of strategically skipping a turn if you really want to play the next one.

Aother video idea is one person skips on odds and the other skips on evens

FYI it was kind of hard following what the rules of the game are. I thought it worked like open the way gate but it seems it's not? Since you don't get two turns in a row

should try again but choose when you go i.e. play on odd or even turns. it probably will be harder to keep track but would be fun.

It would be pretty similar (I'd argue that having a second monitor to track if you can move this turn or just looking at the mana spent last turn are both decent ways to do it)

It's so so much better to go 2nd so your opponent can't kill your end of turn effects...

I think it's a great concept, however with both of you skipping at the same time it feels like it's just a pause, maybe something like "one plays odd turns, the other even turns" would add some spice?

Eddie started the game off and Rarran went after, then 2 skipped turns after that. Rarran plays the spell at 7 mana. You can see Rarran plays both dragons on 9 mana. At that point, Eddie skips a turn and so does Rarran. This is evident because the cut shows Eddie go from 7 mana to 9 mana. He plays his threat and Rarran deals with it because he has taken the turn after Eddie’s every single time. If you still think he cheated, you are sped

I think this gamemode would be even more interesting if you could "save a turn" for later. Example: Skip turn 1+2 to play on turns 3+4.

Content idea: instead of skipping every other turn, every turn you flip a coin and can only take your turn if it lands heads
