Turn 1 - buy minion (with Summons, if possible) Turn 2 - upgrade Tavern Tier Turn 3 - sell original Minion and buy two new ones(avoid Refreshing early game, if possible) Turn 4 - buy two more Minions Turn 5 - buy one Minion and upgrade Tavern Tier Turn 6 - aim for powerful early game Minions, triples, or more Minions (goal is most stats on the board) Turn 7 - buy Minion and upgrade Tavern Tier Turn 8 and on - figure it out

Thanks for this vid. Very helpful. Battlegrounds is super fun but very overwhelming at first. Your game plan for the first 7 turns is going to help me out a lot and also made me realize what I've been doing wrong.

I got a daily quest to play a battleground, they look like so much work than it's worth. Like this game mode looks like you need a PhD in Astrophysics to play.

This is a lot different than when i played battleground after it first came out, havent played hearthstone in like 5 years

I've employed that 7 turn start strategy 3 times now and come in 6th, 7th and 8th, my worst 3 results ever. Seems unless you get REAL lucky with your draws, there will be zero synergy.

Great video, however still have no idea how battleground works, I know it is an auto-combat however not sure when to spend coin, upgrade or go for triple, also the minion ordering seems confusing, do you do budget decks for standard ?

I can make more videos on battleground tips so look out for those. It's hard to explain in a comment. General tip for minion ordering is to put your highest attack minion first, especially in the early game, and if you think they have divine shield or taunts then put some low attack minions first (usually if they have mechs). Again, will need to make a full video on that. I do have budget decks for standard but the videos on them still need to be made

this game is so confusing

you talk to fast and dont annunciate enough to understand what you are saying half the time. i had to rewind and listen again and again at a few parts and still didnt get what your were saying

I had no issues understanding and thought it was very clear. But you can always change the playback speed in the settings.
