Hi Adam. I have been following your channels for many years now in its many and varied incantations and you are always good value and watchable . However, I cannot begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed this current series with your Dad. I have genuinely been moved by your shared interactions and the loving experience of your entwined family years. i am late sixties now and my Dad was taken from us way too soon at 54 years old. I would have loved to had had such a travel experience with him had he lived his 'three score years and ten'. Thank you both for sharing those treasured personal memories. I would also have loved to have heard your Dad preach. He has an obvious good soul and his integrity is there for all to see. All good wishes and thanks to you both. Kind regards and god bless from Paul

It sure is. Same here - 23 yrs ago. I had Mississippi/Louisiana preachers on mom's side, Grandpa & the uncles - many a church service was attended over vacation. Still recall day Dad's bicycling instruction finally took; well, nearly. Fine-tuning always helps. Gravel? Not so much. No pics of act, just after fact. In our yard, I was straddling an old 50's adult bike when I lost balance, falling off & hitting the ground. One pic reveals a grimace: I know I'm going down, but can't stop momentum. Next is bike & I on the grass, me still gripping handlebars, grinning, embarrassed yet triumphant. Shortly prior to Dad's passing, we conducted a mini-road-trip w/my son of places we'd lived in/around town when I was growing up, when my dad was a youth, & when my son was pre-K age - taking a few pix, reminiscing on earlier, healthier times & hoping to leave more good memories for him to hold before his grandpa was gone. Final shot = sunset behind farm fence, son balanced on gate, pretending to hold back sun or balancing it in his hand. This would be our last time taking an extended country drive as fam together. S'why I enjoy 'Tube-tripping w/The Woos. I identify & appreciate the post & its sentiment.

A few years ago my sister stopped by what used to be the family farm. She was telling her husband about it and how she remembered the pump in the yard. The farmer said he had just taken it out and that she could have it if she wanted. She said she wanted it but had no idea what she would do with it. They still moved around a lot at that time because of work, but if that happened now she could use it for a garden ornament.

I have really enjoyed the trip with your father. My father was also a minister and l can’t relate to the hometown comment. We moved a lot as well. My dad dressed just like your Dad when he retired. I think he had the same jacket and black shoes. As a preacher’s kid that moved frequently, you have a close relationship with your parents and siblings. They were your only friends when you moved to a new town. I love the relationship of you and your father. My husband tried to get me to do exactly what you are doing, but I never found the time. After watching this series, I wish I had. Dad passed in 2015, Cherish your time. You have created a wonderful memory. P.s. I think preacher kids should have their own club.

I didn’t know we were neighbors at one time! I’m in Washington, not too far from Bloomington, a little closer to Peoria. I loved hearing your dad talk about the snow. :) He’s a doll! I love seeing your Disney and travel recordings, but today’s made me smile a little bigger.

I grew up here in the 50s and 60s And have visited with my own family a few times in better weather. I have always felt fortunate and grateful that my dad didn't take that higher paying job in Chicago. LeRoy, both pronunciations: archaic formal French and Illinois Hick, will always be my home town.

I love this! God is truly blessing you and your dad with this trip. Thank you so much for sharing your trip with all of us! ♥️ PS your dad reminds me of Johnathon Winters 😂😂😂👍🏼 so funny, genuine and heart felt especially yesterday at the Field of Dreams and you both tossing the ball around. And the day where your pushing your dad on the merry-go-round by the pool where he grew up, then the next day he pushes you on one- all priceless, Praise Jesus❣️

Living in Illinois I can Relate to all of the stories involving snow. I have constructed my fare share of snowmen and have went sledding almost every year since I was about 2. This road trip especially this video has brought back lots of good childhood memories. Thank you Adam and Adam's dad.

Native “LeRoyan” here. Cute video of you reminiscing in my hometown. My family goes back many generations there. Adam, we must’ve gone to school and church together, we’re close to the same age I believe. The building on the circle is The Band Stand. That isn’t city hall next to the old church any longer but it’s still a city building. The pool is new and it is a gymnasium in that large building next to it. I remember the snowstorm of 78. It was a doozy! Wonderful watching the 2 of you.
