❤They were for many years since 1600's, MISUNDERSTOOD , Mislabeled, RULED OUT by humans up until this day there are still * Humans " labeling this breed in a negative cast that recently by experts has gotten better with removing such horrible negative ,labels they were giving this breed . There's still some " Nay Sayers, and haters out there* that can not accept the update on this breed is not what humans casted over their head. It slowly is being removed as time goes on and with experts saying it's time to " STOP" Labeling this breed in a negative way.

Just don't forget at the end of the day there still animals. Its why u gotta respect them. Especially when there big and powerful or u end up gone because of it. Respect doesn't just mean being nice. It means understanding how to handle them. Like don't smile with ur teeth showing to a gorilla cause it's a sign of aggression.

A reminder that high content wolf dogs are not pets. They are highly emitional members of a pack family. Your family if you choose to adopt one. It is an animal that requires 24-7 love and attention and excercise. This one is very lucky to have you.

Same can be said for Belgium Malinois and German Shepherds. Working breeds are very similar to wolves when it comes to meeting needs. They're highly intelligent and need purpose.

They form VERY strong attachments to their packmates. That's why so many wolfdogs end up in kill shelters when their first owners can't manage them and rehome them to a 2nd home with stranger. Once they bond, that's it. We knew that going in, so we were committed to Stormy since the day we rescued her at 6 weeks old. Couldn't imagine life without her these days. Honey has a BEAUTIFUL voice!

I worry about that so much cause Bob is 9 now. If anything happened to him, she'd fall apart. I went in with the exact same attitude as you. No matter what happens, she's mine forever. No matter how many shoes, purses, molding, and drywall dissappears it's all replaceable stuff. Nothing can replace Stormy or Honey. Their love, loyalty, and goofiness is the best gift we could be given. ❤️ 🐾

I'm sure the entire neighborhood heard her. It was the first time she's had that deep, sorrowful howl. I should have filmed Bob's return. She acted like she hadn't seen him in years. ❤️ 🐾

Every time she called Bob and he didn't reply, Honey became even more worried and panicked. I just wanted to hug and squeeze and comfort her the best I could.

She was inconsolable, I tried when she came back upstairs. She had to look out every window, go back outside, pase the yard, and repeat. ❤️ 🐾

I had a stray that I found as a puppy, thought he was a mutt, discovered later that he was a Finnish Lapphund; who howled all the time. To the point of "good grief dawg!". Over the years I taught him to howl softly and eventually taught him to whisper howl. I'd just calmly say "sshhhhh" and he learned. Ended up with a very soft and soulful howl much like your WOOF. Love it.

I felt so bad for Honey, especially when Bob didn't howl back. When he got home, Honey acted like she hadn't seen him in years. She loves him so much. ❤️ 🐾

Being here live, you could feel it in your soul. He was only gone for about 15 minutes, and it really shook her up. He really is her security blanket and seeing eye dog when it comes to trust. This really worries me because Bob's so much older than her. ❤️ 🐾

She's calling for her kind. I recognize the manner- I live in Alaska and hear it occasionally at or just before dusk.

That is so sad. My border collie mix does his best wolf howl when we leave him and he doesn’t get to go over to the grandparents house next door.

They do tend to bond with one, sometimes two people, and when their person is absent, they are often sad. Mine would howl with joy on our fenced deck when I pulled in the drive.

The fact that Honey loves Bob is heartwarming. But, the fact that she is so traumatized at the thought she would not ever see him again is heartbreaking. I would have been very worried myself, if I didn't know he would come back to her

Awwww poor Honey, I’m sorry to hear that she’s upset, if I was there too, out of care and generosity and kindness, I’m going to play with an idea I shared before to help Honey feel better. I’d let her relax on my lap in my sleeping bag with my arms around her while I’m sat on the couch and help her think happy thoughts to cheer her up why don’t you give that a try I also use ideas in someone’s time of need my friends.

I have watched this video countless times. Each time it makes me sad to hear Honey in such despair because she is afraid she will never see Bob again. She is a beautiful and fragile little soul. I am extremely grateful she has her loving mommy and fur brother Bob and human brother Chris.

I love that soulful howl of hers, too. 😃 She's been howling with Jake and Bob like crazy. They've been the happy pack howls, though. Jake went to my daughter's today. Honey was so sad, but it was easier this time. We all went to the woods and played in the river. When it was time to go, Honey jumped in my car and Jake in my daughter's. She was sad, but she didn't whimper and cry this time. ❤️ 🐾

That's my biggest fear. When Bubba goes, she's going to be beyond lost. Both Jake and Bob are 10 now. I'm hoping they live past 16, but the bigger they are, the shorter the life span. I've thought about getting a new puppy just in case, so she never has to be alone, but now that I've got all 3 of them, it might be a little much. ❤️ 🐾

I saw a response from the owner on another short that said she was mostly wolf, with Malamute and German Shepherd. I can't remember which percentage went with which breed, but those they clocked in at 13% and 7%.

Honey is such sweet innocent little soul. She truly loves her big brother Bob. She was frightened that she would not ever see him again. Fortunately, Bob was back in fifteen minutes. I would have loved to see her relieved and happy he came back.

Bob didn't make a peep. He was quiet as a church mouse. He thoroughly enjoys his walks. He got to walk at his speedy pace, and Honey loves to stop and smell everything. We thought it might be nice to separate them. I had no idea she'd freak out. She's still the same baby that can't be alone in the backseat and has to be everywhere he is, no matter how strange. ❤️ 🐾

When wolves howl like that it means they miss their pack.

They probably take separation even worse than dogs if I had to guess. In the wild they are always together with their families. Having one or two members of their pack be separated from them is probably quite distressing

@@bluequiltednessyou are correct. In fact, she will never fully grasp the comings & goings of her humans… Her every instinct is to survive in the wild as a vital member of a group/pack. There are no human emotions in her. Just pure raw beautiful wild instinct…of a wolf… a creature who rarely to never attacks humans unless severely provoked or diseased/sick, etc. I’ve mixed emotions here. Wild animals deserve to be wild. This beautiful girl will NEVER be reprogrammed domesticated nor should she be. Her & her human companions very survival complete depend on how well she’s being fooled &/or tricked in ways that cater to her natural amazing instincts - now everyone’s gonna want a wolf as a pet then nature will happen a human will get what they naturally should when fuckin with wild animals & then everyone will hate the pet wolf (oxymoron) when the problem is the humans not the wolf. WOLVES ARE NOT EVER MEANT YO BE OUR ENTERTAINMENT OR PETS. It’s NOT cute.
