Shouldn't the auction house be charged for animal cruelty for mistreating and abusing the animal in their care and premises. Not giving the foal critical and immediately needed veterinary care ? Not having the hooves trimmed and critical care for the sick and suffering animal ?

@@jjradV Hello JJ . Thank you for your very kind words in your reply. In answer to your question. I am not a vegan, but I have cut down on dairy foods. I would say that I a vegetarian. What is very concerning to me is the methane gas that is from dairy farming in the form of gas emitted by cows. This gas is even more dangerous to our fragile planet than Carbon Dioxide. When it comes to our animal friends, the way certain people treat them is abhorrent to me. It breaks my heart when I see the suffering that is inflicted upon them. There are many people who believe that our animal friends are incapable of showing love and affection towards humans. That is a complete fallacy. I have had one of the most precious gifts bestowed upon me. I have adopted 3 kitties from an animal shelter. When a kittie chooses you to be their human, it touches your soul and your heart ❤. When I saw Tubby standing in a corner with his head touching the wall, it is a sign of emotional abuse and a psychological distress. If we as the so-called higher species are devoid of any form of empathy towards our animal friends, then we do not deserve the friendship of our animal friends. I'm sorry for going on about this. It is because I care deeply about our animal friends.

@@briang.4249 thank you for your reply. I quite agree with you about animal agriculture,it is more polluting than all the transport emissions combined. The earth doesn't need us but we need the earth, what is it going to take for people to wake up and accept responsibility for global warming ? You certainly have an understanding of animals and their emotions, many people don't recognize them as sentient beings and call themselves animal lovers but think nothing of killing and eating them, since we don't need animal products to survive all the suffering and cruelty is completely unnecessary. People should know that when they buy animal products they are paying for the death of that animal. When I was watching the video about Tubby I couldn't help but think of dairy calves that are taken from their mothers shortly after they are born, not allowed to have their mothers milk. The male babies are shot/slaughtered because they don't produce milk or they are kept in small confined cages to keep their muscles soft so they can be sold as veal. The females will live the same miserable life that their mothers lived. Cows are very maternal animals and cry and grieve for days after their babies have been taken away from them. The babies cry out for their mothers! I am sure you know all this and I am so glad to hear that you have cut down on dairy,it is a very cruel industry. I can tell you care very deeply about animals, I think you are already vegan in your heart ! Keep on educating and speaking up for the voiceless, the animals need you !

@@jjradV Your eloquent description about the calves being taken away from their mothers for the production of veal,is something not a lot of people know about. Like you, I think it is a barbaric form of food production. There have been at least 5 extinction level events in earth's history. These events caused up to 90% loss of all flora and fauna . Many scientists believe that we are currently in the 6th extinction level event. This may seem an alarmist thing to say, unfortunately it is something that I subscribe to. To better describe this we only have to look at the covid19 pandemic. This virus is what is termed as a zoonotic virus, one that is passed from animal to human. Then we see our rainforest depletion, glacier melts, siberian perma frost melt releasing more and more methane into the atmosphere. All of this evidence points to an extinction level event. I know this statement is an alarming one. If the leaders of the world do nothing then I do despair for the next generation. When it comes to our animal friends, for as long as I can remember, I have always believed that they to have emotions. One of my earliest memories of seeing an emotion in a wild creature was when an elephant in a herd had died. All of the other elephants were mourning the loss of one of their herd. It was so sad to see this.

To all you not yet vegans remember, if you really care about animals, when you buy they die. Choose something else to eat,we don't need animal products to survive. Choose kindness over cruelty! YES! Preach it! It's sickening how people are ruled by the dollar. And I see it's worse now than ever. Even in regular customer service, people don't take pride in their work or bring passion or compassion to the table anymore, but life is not a thing to abuse, life is a sacred gift to make the most of to bring our gifts and to cherish all of life's wondrous gifts with love and care. From the food to the seas, to animals, to the skies, are being corrupted by man corrupted with greed. Humanity needs deep healing in their hearts and souls so that they can properly care for life and the earth and all it's creatures with love, and only Jesus can give people that kind of inner healing that is so desperately needed now. Because only hearts with love see rightly and do right and good to what is around them. I knew someone once that claimed to be a huge animal and nature lover and advocate, while simultaneously being full of hatred to all humanity, but it is an oxymoron to believe hatred will bring healing and balance and love to all living things, and healing, balance, and love is what all living things need to live, grow, and thrive. Yet this person couldn't stand dogs, probably because dogs can sense the bad in people. But no matter what anyone else is doing, choose love, because love does conquer all! And as long as we have love from God in our hearts, we will be the light we wish to see. God bless you Connie!

I could be wrong, but it seems to me only few people have empathy, like 1 in 50, and the people who do have empathy have so much of it, while the many have none whatsoever, which then makes life harder on empaths, because it's as if we take on the responsibility to care in the stead of 50 people who are unwilling or unable to care. But no matter how painful empathy can be, it is the most beautiful and extraordinary life path as well, because we get to see the miracles of life! Everyone has eyes, but few see.
