I enjoy singing heartbreak hotel during karaoke, even at my hardest i cannot feel the same vibe when i listen to mr presley sing. Such a unique raspy voice

No one can ever compare to the young Elvis.

I love every Elvis era...but there was a rawness and a palpable "danger" to these early performances (given the society at the time), that create a kind of edge-of-the-seat excitement that did not exist in his later years. Watching this vid, I get the feeling that if not for the almost unbelievable charisma and appeal of the man...the audience may have turned him. There will never be another like him.

No one else could have done "Heartbreak Hotel". The one and only, forever.
