I was thinking the same exact thing when it ended.. It needs 2 or 3 more verses and a few more choruses. Throw in a guitar solo or two. 10 minutes sounds good to me.

These ladies have always been some bad azz chicks. Luckily, my father was a very big Heart fan. I remember when he got the Dog&Butterfly album. I was all of 9 years old and fell in love with the cover!! Dad motions me to sit next to him and listen to the whole album. I was mesmerized and was hooked. At the end, he says “so what’d ya think Coleen?” All I could say was play it again dad!!! I can feel it just like it was yesterday.

They just don't make music like this anymore. This takes me back to high school. Such a different world it was in the 70's, and the songs were pure bliss.💓

Such the petite composition. Leaves me with a lump in my throat every time, and wishing we were young again. Privileged to live when I did.

There's something richer and deeper about them now. It's awesome to see them like this.

Omg when I hear her singing this I just picture a beautiful girl riding on a sailbot in the morning with the rising sun making the ocean water sparkle.

I was a teenager in the 1970's. I wish I realized how great music was back then when I was young and how thankful I should have been. The music of that time was just so damn awesome. Heart was part of that. Thanks Ann and Nancy!

I love this song so much. I listened to the version on the original album today and it had a very “Carpenters” feel to it. The harmony and simplicity of the lyrics and Ann’s voice was so melodic like Karen Carpenter. But nevertheless Ann and Nancy will ALWAYS be my heroes. Girl power! Real music. Not having to sell their sexuality although they’re both sexy as hell in their own right!!!!!

What an awesome live performance of this song by one of my all-time favorite bands. Ann and Nancy are definitely the best female rock vocalists ever. And, they are still gorgeous. I saw them in Reno, NV a few years ago and they were better than ever!

I was one of the lucky few who got to hear/watch/enjoy Heart at least once a month, at the Red Barn in Great Falls, Montana - BEFORE they became a global phenomenon! Those WERE the days! Heart is one of THE few bands that sounds better live than they do in a recorded session! Rock on ladies!

I think Ann Wilson is perhaps the best singer of our era. Nancy's harmonies are right up there too, like Dog & Butterfly with the Major 7th harmony... that makes me break down in tears, and I'm a straight man. Not to mention Nancy's incredible fingerpicking... After all these years they can still do it in the same key too... wow.

Wow didn't realise Ann Wilson could play a flute like that. Such talented people and sisters. Always wear their hearts on their sleeves

The song Dog and Butterfly came up on my Facebook page and it reminded me of this beautiful song. I watched an older version of it first and was going to share it when this on came on on autopsy. How is it possible that this women's voice sounds even better and stronger? Nancy's harmonies are just ethereal.

This song was my favorite when I was in high school. Its timeless melody's haven't changed in 50 years.

Thanks for this great song by this kickass band. What talent ! ! & beauty ! ! ! Many women get better with age & these sisters prove that. You Tube should add a "love" button next to the like choice for when we love a song. I didn't get to see them, but a friends wife saw their concert two years ago & said they are still awesome live. I remember listening each week as their hits shot up the charts on Casey Kasem's American Top 40 Radio Show as I drove back to the Army post each weekend.
