Why is MediaCorp hiring so many Malaysian hosts in the recent years? Their Mandarin is horrible, hire people who speak better Mandarin pls.

Hmm.. who should they hire? From China or Taiwan? They aren't horrible, it's just their Malaysian accents. It's also not easy to find good host from SG. Or do you want to give it a try?

@@annilam5893 i rather have TW and PRC hosts, better Mandarin for our younger audience. Msian hosts yikes. Very soon our youngsters will speak like them - village accent. Stop saying we can't find sg people, i am sure we can find 2 - 3 sg youngsters who speak good Chinese. These msian hosts sounds and look like kampong folks they pick from street. No looks, no fashion sense and village accent. I dun know why mediacorp force us to watch them. The reason why we are not getting TW and PRC hosts nowadays is because it's less attractive to work in mediacorp now, that's why we end up with subpar msians. And stop asking people to try to do the job just becos i criticise their hosting. I dun believe you never criticise any actors before, so should you also try acting.

Mediacorp, take note of my feedback. Chinese language standard is obviously declining in SG, pls hire people who speak better Chinese. Not these Msians who speak with village accent. If they are cool and hip, i understand why u hire them, but they are not.

@@jessicakhor6477 wat does it got to do with my comments on msian village accent. Speak more mandarin with msian accent 🤮. I can type Chinese too lazy to install Chinese in my phone. Msian Chinese sucks.
