fun fact: the hexadecimal codes for two of the grays i used for the numbers were "727272" and "272727" as a reference to the level, 7-2

holy fucking shit you actually did it, you madman you actually did it. mad respect for splitting the 23/4 part into 5/4, 6/4, 5/4 and 7/4, now i can actually cover this song without my head exploding

perhaps Peak…great visuals and i’ve been waiting for this song in particular for a while too!

What fun about this song is that even though there are several time signature changes, there are recognizable patterns. There’s even certain musical cues to help the listener identify what time signature the song is currently in (i.e. the electric guitar screeching at the last quarter note of the 5/4 segments of the song, and the snare drum rolls during the 5/4, 6/4, and 7/4 switch-up segments telling you what time signature that segment is in). Very interesting. This is coming from somebody with no musical training whatsoever, so please excuse any musical terminology mistakes.

The album art for Hear! The Siren Song Call of the Dead is so good. The spotlights that are featured throughout the level all focus on v1 like the main actor of a chaotic, brutal play, as they stand contemplative amidst the violent raging conflict that surrounds them. The beams of light forming the upper half of a damaged skull, with the cracks forming into their wings, somewhat angelic in nature, but here stretched into what appears as vile batwings or even organic roots or veins, as if the violence that surrounds them is taking root inside their mechanical brain. Hell yeah.

Damn you made this with capcut? Thought you used something like DaVinci xD Once again, this is freakin amazing. Keep up the great work!! ^v^

So it’s starts off 7/4 then it goes to a 5/4 and then it goes into a 6/4 and back to 7/4 and so on. So that’s about 3 changing time signatures. The fact that hakita incorporates time signatures into his music? In general it makes music a bit more fun sounding and exciting.

So there's no universal 3/4 time signature for Prime Leitmotifs. It will be a shame if 1:12 isn't a P-3 leitmotif Anyway, it's a great job with the background!

both Sands of Tide and War are fully in 4/4 so i don't know what you're talking about

You know this level was awful when I first played it. Mainly because I didn’t understand any of the weapons other than railgun and marksmen/sharpshooter so guttertanks were a nightmare. Now that I’ve p ranked it, got all the secrets, did the challenge, and stole the jackhammer? Top 5 stage in the whole game honestly. And this song makes ot even sweeter, it’s so panicky and intense it perfectly sets the mood of being in an active warzone

the fact you added the levels progression to the visualizer is so cool definitely your best one yet

I honestly like this compositional choice to change between unusual time singatures constantly It has this constantly tense rhythmic feel; it feels very discordant in a sense... just like war.

this is such a cool fucking song honestly contender for one of my favorite songs in the game crazy how it changes time signature almost every single measure

This is actually somewhat close to my predictions. There’s ten levels (bolgias, I think) of Fraud. One for the boss level, nine (maybe eight if Hakita wanted to use one for the secret level) for the others. And they’re all on top of each other, right? (Probably not, but bear with me) What if, throughout the levels of Fraud, we traverse through multiple bolgias Subway Surfers-style? (I can’t really describe it in other ways, it’s just going through and back) Also, I’m hoping for Fraud to have at least one mining-themed level. It’s one big cave, so there’s gotta be some precious minerals in there.

let's see... time spent jamming: countless hours gathering footage: 45 minutes + ~30 minutes for finding and setting up shots visual effects: 1~ hour visualizer (bouncy square + numbers): roughly 45 minutes thumbnail: 10 minutes + 30 or so minutes of quality assurance and mistake fixing and then there you have it, video!

Functionally, 6/4 is more similar to 6/8, where there's 2 pulses instead of 3. In this case, 6/4 is probably more accurate

He likely just got the names confused. "Of the dead" was the end of the name of the WIP version, meanwhile "of death" is used for the final name.

I take back everything I've said, 8/7 works so much better for that section. the 8/10 section I still feel is better just as 4/5, but they are quite literally the same, so maybe that's just my ocd or something wanting to keep everything the same (in the song with the most fucked up time signatures lmao)
