The problem is that in itself isnt illegal. And if one were to be proactive about the danger people would yell about “religious persecution “ The problem is that the democracy that is supposed to safeguard the US is based on fair play and representation as well as education… Currently the Judicial branch is stacked with the minority party who cant be checked and are actively partisan, the senate overrepresents the minority party due to its inherent structure, and the house doesnt accurately represent based off population due to its house representative cap. There is no check. Trump will lose the popular but given their plan, it wont matter because of how the political system is structured.

This was recognizable as soon as Trump spoke at the Republican Convention. He showed us who he really was, but so many people were distracted by his vitriolic rhetoric. For example how the trickle down economics and tax breaks the republicans gave exploded the deficit and killed the middle class, (thank you reagan..but we continue like its good) how Trumps tarifs work and what they will do to consumers when he increases them, what happens to workers rights without unions, how women are affected when they need (not want) a so called "abortion" procedure and can't get one, what happens when Trump abolishes the ACA leaving millions without healthcare, what happens when we dont have procedures and provisions in place for epidemics or pandemics (covid would have went diff if Trump kept the funding Obama put in place instead of calling it "wasteful spending" and redirecting the $) We haven't been fine in this country for at least close to 40 years and he had 4 yrs to fix it and did nothing but blame the democrats.

If it were fascism, they would be creating something like the department of education. They wouldn't be getting rid of it. They would create it, and it would be federal, and all the schools would have to do whatever it says. And it would answer to the president. That's something that Hitler would do, he was a fascist. He wouldn't tell the states to oversee their own education system and do as they think best. He would have a federal department of education telling each of them what to do and telling them to spread all kinds of propaganda into the kids' minds.

He isn’t allowed according to our constitution, 14th Amendment, but the “supreme” court decided to throw out 14th amendment. Their reasoning made no sense whatsoever.

They’re fear mongering as usual. None of what the proposals list stated was true. He said in the debate he’s not going to overturn abortion, or the pill, and he believes in the exceptions. He never said anything about loyalists but lobbyists truly do need to go and there’s no arguing that. The DOJ is corrupt as it is the establishment that is currently targeting him under direct order of president Biden, a third world country tactic and fascist tactic. How can you not see through the lies and propaganda?

Half the country thinks he's Jesus. He has a charisma and a likeability that is rare in human history. We're at a terrible moment in history. Trump will win, but the next 5-10 years will be years of suffering like nobody alive today has seen.

Honestly, this all sounds like something people should be arrested for. Actively conspiring to overthrow the government should have the justice departments alarms going off.

He said “proud boys stand back and stand by”. WOW that gave me chills.

Apparently, we are going backwards not forward by allegedly Making America Great Again.

Yep. But the problem is that the Right has successfully co-opted the judiciary. So whatever charges and legal challenges the Left launches will be dealt with the same way Trump's cases have...delay and dismissal. The only push-back against the Right's corruption of the courts lies with the other two branches, the Executive and Legislative. However, if voters put Trump in the White House, and if they give Republicans both houses of Congress, there is nothing stopping an effective MAGA authoritarian takeover of government. Americans are only now realizing how dangerous allowing Trump and the Right to take over the courts has been; they can now sabotage Congressional legislation, state legislation, and Trump would have pardon/commutation power to deal with the rest. Democracy in America is truly hanging on by a thread right now.

They are both terrorist organisations and it boggles my mind that they are allowed in America. Even Merrick Garland has spoken for the Federalist Society, which really makes me wonder about America's analytic capacities. I have worked this stuff out nearly 20 years ago and I don't even live in the US. So why can't you?

I love the fact that the first 3 words of our Constitution are "we the people." This affirms that the government of the United States, exists to serve its citizens. Honor our Constitution, and protect it at all cost, the same way it exists to protect us. Semper Fi...🇺🇸.
