Ahh what the hell...I'll tell you what you're doing wrong there...you look like a decent operator ready to take it to the next level...1st, prep it and attack it so you're not loading blind side...in this case they would roll up from the other direction like you were gonna side load still, but they go slightly past and turn away at a 45...then back up just a little until the back of their box is maybe 10' in front of the outside corner of your left track, and 5' away or out from outside edge of your track, on a 45 facing out and away from you...not parallel beside you and not at a 90 facing straight out...right in between...this allows for the truck to be close and in your sweet spot...all cylinders operating middle range and nothing needing to be stroked out...in other words fast...the 45 angle allows room to swing....keep your material in front of you as best you can so your not swinging excessively far....get out on the ground and talk with your truckers to explain it first thing....lastly, you're curling too far...you're booming up and sticking in too far too while you're loading that bucket, and all at the same time. Try to isolate those valves a little...as you swing over from the box your bucket is in position already, boom down, then stick, then bucket and stick until material reaches top back of bucket, then straight up with the boom...just the boom...you're bucket curled half as much as here...3 times faster to release...and more material...do all of this if you can, if you have to side load, do the rest...you might think I'm a jerk for being so critical, or you might use it and thank me...up to you bro.

amy Liebert he’s not production loading, he’s multitasking , he’s taking a heavy cut, he’s sorting material, he’s not overloading trucks due to ground conditions, he’s trying not to tip over, he’s trying not to sink. Everything he’s doing or not doing has a purpose. Any good operator would be able to notice that by noticing ground conditions and the way the material is acting in video, he also points out those problems throughout the video.

@@tyronbellerby7511 tyron bellerby The dirt conditions that are being dealt with are not only the ones seen in the video. If the trucks were loaded heavier they would be getting stuck either on the haul road(which has constant maintenance and still has constant deep ruts) or in the fill area. This is a fact known by real operators, I worked in this area and many others with similar ground conditions, which by the way in this city(Calgary) any site can have conditions that range from rock to sand to mud to popcorn fart dry...etc. Jason knows what he is talking about you are far from having the knowledge and experience than the newbs driving rocktruck in the video. Quit attempting to be a know it all bigshot and you might learn a thing or more from the operators you think you are criticizing.

When trucks will not get closer, throw a pile of dirt on the otherside of them so that they either have to run over a mountain of dirt or squeeze in closer. The goal is to keep truck drivers from thinking at all. Al's if you stop them on the horn, you can get them within your reach even if they are to far or to close.
