ingredients for batter
1.5cup rice
1/2cup split chickpeas
1/4 cup split black gram
1/4cup split green gram
1/4cup pigeon pea
1/4cup red lentil
1/2 cup curd
1+1/4 cup luke warm water
other ingredients
200gm grated bottle gourd
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
1cup grated carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander
2tsp ginger chilli paste
salt to taste
1tsp turmeric
1tsp black pepper powder
2tsp sugar
1/2tsp asafoetida
for tadka
oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, sesame seeds, asafoetida

There is no sweet taste in this recipe but kadipatta always makes everything taste milder than it is. And these recipes are known for mildness and satisfying tastes. It is a nice recipe. Thanks for this recipe.
Actually we use wet grinder and this helps to make a very course paste with nutrients in tact and you can avoid using eno to make it lighter

Good,i tried this with yeast and minced meat it was lovely
It is like our adai from South India. We add chillies while grinding and we don't add vegetables. Will try this version too. Thanks for the receipie

Adai in itself is heavy with lentils, adding too much of vegs and eno is just added attraction. When the soaked ingredients stays for 6 hours, the batter will ferment, eno not required
Very nice nutritious recipe we can say it will be tasty also seeing the ingredients and the method ,very good recipe.
Very healthy recipe. In south we prepare Adai dosa similar to your recipe.

This is a wholesome meal similar to " thavala adai " made in tamilnadu. Here we add coconut also and the Vegetables are minimum. We also make a readymade powder of the ingredients and use it .

Very well explained..its a wholesome meal n I tried it with baking soda instead of eno..its taste was good.
Is it necessary to add eno as it is already fermented? I think it will come out fluffy without adding eno.

Already natural khamir tayar hue batter me apko vapas soda or eno dalneki jarurat nahi hoti.. kyu ki vo already fula hua he.. & Always,try to avoid soda in food.. not good for health.. Anyways.. nice recipe..
