I wish everyone could have a bit of the support I have. My husband and I both are very indebted to the staff of Tacoma General Hospital and all the doctors we have guiding our treatments. Thank you for your comment.

Sounds like you have a wonderful medical team. Should be that way. Your attitude toward life has a lot to do with treatment, and recovery. You have that already in the bag. 😊 A beautiful drive. TY for taking us along.

LOVE to hear that you are happy with your doctor - so important. I live alone, my family is long gone from this earth but I get out quite a lot and have wonderful friends many of whom call every day. They'll say "just checking in" but I know they want to make sure I'm ok. My family of friends is something I don't take lightly. It's always a treat to see a new video from you. That's how we can "check in" on you Granny. Your hubby is a gem to take you on your peaceful drives. This diagnosis is terribly hard on him too. Bless you both. Keep checking in!

My husband is my rock and helps me keep a good outlook. My daughter is a gem too and all my grandkids and great-grands keep me positive that I'm going to stick around a while longer. Thank you for the kind words and I'm happy that you have good friends.

Thank you. Cheryl. Saw another doctor today and going through another round of tests so I can be ready for surgery. Things are moving at a snail's pace these days, but I am still hopeful that I will be putting this all behind me soon.

Thats interesting. Sabina's favorite thing to do is go on a drive to no place in particular. It relaxes her like nothing else! So long as she dont drift off while she is driving (she hates my driving). We are very happy your treatment is going well! See you at the hangout tonight!

That's probably the hardest advice to follow. My doc tells me they won't be doing anything about my knees until all the rest is resolved and standing or walking is getting pretty hard, but I have some small weights and that is easy enough to do. Thanks for the encouragement.

I use 5 pound weights... they sell 2 and 3 # also at Walmart. many repetitions with light weight is aerobic, and stimulates heart and spreads the oxygen. I sit in chair or stand briefly for a set. My therapist came for several weeks after my foot surgery and coached me to do leg exercises while sitting in a chair. there are movements we can do sitting that get your breathing rate up and tire you, and it only takes ten minutes a day. Good Day Granny, and have a good Fathers Day with your Hubby. Love and Hugs, Frances
