It is hard to explain how health can impact your life. With Ed's brain cancer diagnosis, easy decisions have gotten harder and harder. And explaining them to our friends and family is an insane challenge. So if you've ever felt lost, alone, isolated, or confused because of health care... we understand. Thanks for joining us! We are Jason and Ed, and we are The Traveling Husbands! We are huge Disney fans and recently relocated from Florida to Hawaii. We have been to Disneyland multiple times while living in Arizona. In 2017, we got to spend a week at the Tokyo Disney Resort for our honeymoon. We are also DVC members and own at Aulani. And that’s only partly because we got married in Hawaii!
In addition to Disney trips, we have spent extended time in Europe including Paris, a small village in Southwest Germany, London, Zurich, Alsace, and Barcelona. We both grew up in the Northeast and took many family trips throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic states, and up to Canada. Together, we recently lived in Phoenix, Arizona, which gave us opportunities to explore the west coast.
Recently, we have entered a new, and different adventure - living with brain cancer, and caring for a spouse undergoing cancer treatment. We are pleased to share all of the journeys that come our way in this crazy life!

Phoenix is an excellent choice. I was thinking weather issues too, not just traveling to visits but possible slip and fall incidents on icy sidewalks. Thanks for the update.

Oh guys it's so nice to see you again and hear your updates! Moving sucks but it's got to be a relief knowing when you get to Phoenix you can breath a little easier. You guys have such a great attitude and I hope you can continue to post videos. I've subbed way back for Disney videos and now I'm just here for you two. I didn't know ya'll went to moffitt here! I used to work there and am a patient there now myself. You're absolutely right - they use different EMR than ORMC and so on. If you can find a few places that use epic, it's typically easier to move records.

also, hopefully ya'll can get Ed back into remission (or at least more stable) and then it may be easier to transition to Connecticut.

With Ed's health and well being being your top priority it sounds like this is the best move for you. Hope everything goes well and that it's a pretty easy move for you.

I'm so happy you are going "home'! Even though you aren't coming back to us, Phoenix has always been a place you both love. Care and support is essential but feeling like you're truly home is just as important. Love and hugs!

Thank you! We wish we could have everything all in one place too! But when it comes down to it, the convenience, comfort, and access to our doctors is so important.
