Downloaded :) it is the second or third time I'm using your help for the interview prep and I have been sharing your details with others, I think answering interview questions is a skill that one has to learn like with everything else.. One thing that would make it easier for me to prep though would be if instead of odf download of full list of questions and answers, it would also be available in a video form. I find it easier to learn and remember that way but still, thank you for your work!

Richard be blessed, i watched this video afew minutes to my HSE ENGINEER position with big Company dealing with Oil and gas... guess what!...am employed 😂. HR asked me a question ..that if a board member refused to comply with HSE policies what will i do as an Engineer?....i recalled yo words..in this video..thats how i passed

So I have a connection with a company that only requires me to have my NCCER and CSST certification along with OSHA-10 OSHA-30. The company pays $35/hr as entry level technician with Certification only. I do not know whether to take the OSHA-500 training course and make $35/hr or go for my Associates in Occupational Health and Safety. I know the degree will benefit me in the long run but the program takes about a year and a half to complete (Full Time) vs the 3 month OSHA-500 training course. I'm 27 with no kids. What do you suggest? I need a professionals opinion like yourself. I ultimately want to become a Health and Safety Manager or Director. Is it required for me to have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety to become a Safety Manager/Director? Or can I just get certified and move my way up?

Hey, as someone with so much student loan, id suggest doing the certification, then if you are still interested in getting the degree, you could afford to pay for it. As some point, the degree might matter..

You need a bachelor’s in some sort of health/safety and or occupational health or industrial sanitization as well as 5 years of experience.

The industry is replacing the 4 yr degree with 2 for 1 yrs of experience, 8 yrs experience = 4 yr degree.

hi, sir, it was awesome, one of my interviewers asked me a question. if multiple activities like scaffolding, confined space, and hot work are ongoing, which of them would you give priority as a hse officer? you are alone at your work site?

Fall protection has always been top 3. However without proper training confined space can be just as dangerous. Have to get your test results first in confined space before they enter. So scaffolding.

Still can't check out my payment, something must be wrong with the website. It says try another method. Kindly advise ASAP

I would say: 1. Experience in the role. 2. knowledge of working practices and safety procedures. 3. Experience of writing solid risk assessments. 4. being able to act confidently and decisively. 5. being able to build strong relationships with workers.

Is this a 9-5 Monday- Friday type of career?
