As someone who has struggled with drug addiction for a good part of my life...... I know what shame is in a way that words cannot express. I have 20 months sober and the healing and restoration that God has and is doing is simply put....powerful. To all of you that just might read this comment just know God can do anything if we just get out of the way. Dope houses, streets, jails and prisons....I've been through all of it. Don't settle for what you think life can be. I NOW HAVE A LIFE I DIDNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO PRAY FOR 3 years ago. Who ever finds God...... Finds life!

Shoot down negative thoughts the moment you get them say it out loud, I rebuke the tactics of the enemy. I am made new, I am not my past, I am not my mistakes. Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing!I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!!!!

This is the best sermon I have heard on shame. I have been struggling with shame for a very long time and have working with a biblical counselor. This sermon defines, enforces and explains everything she has been teaching me. Praise God!

An article I read recently said this: Jesus's death and resurrection is the only remedy for the shame we feel over our grievous sin-failures (Hebrews 9:26). There is nowhere else to go with our sin; there is no other atonement (Acts 4:12). But if we hide in Jesus, he provides us a complete cleansing (1 John 1:9). 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness Repent and forgive, the Lord will wash you! I'm only 18 and I'm overwhelmed with shame, things I've watched and things I've thought, and things I've done. I notice this is where my root cause of anxiety comes from. For years I've been telling myself it is normal, but yet I feel beyond embarrassed that if anyone else found out I would consider suicide. How is this normal then? God help me heal!

I agree with Christ Jesus. I accept Him with all of my heart and pray He draws all who have heard Pastor Craig's message to Himself. There is now no condemnation for those that trust in Christ Jesus. Thank You Father for the gift of eternal life with You and for the reminder today.

I went through something in the past and it almost destroyed my self love .. But through commiting my life to Christ am healed and am more focused to know Him more .. Thankyou God because your mercies have taken away my shame .. Goodbye shame and guilty Welcome love and strength 🙏🙏

I’ve done a lot of things. I am ashamed of that. I have been saved and I am trying to work my way through it.
