One thing that resonates with me is the love from parents give kids confidence. I agree. My dad's love means I don't look for validation anywhere else. Thank you for this episode 😊❤️

AMEN! CONFIDENCE! It keeps the human traffickers away. It keeps the schemes away. It keeps the low lifes away. INSTILL CONFIDENCE IN YOUR CHILDREN. We will raise MEN and WOMEN and not boys in male bodies and little girls in women bodies!!

This episode was nothing short of A-MA-ZING!!!! My daughter (32) just had her first and is now dealing with setting boundries. This conversation is transformative and nurturing and shows the power of sharing our vulnurabilities!!! If nothing else, I think it shows, you guys can't stop this, you have to continue!!!!

As the mother of a trans son (I found out when he was 18. He's 20 now.), I know that you don't just become an expert on transgender people overnight. It takes some getting used to that your child who was once one gender is now another. We don't automatically understand how their minds work for them to see themselves as a different gender. It's a learning process. I love him just like I've always loved him. He's still the same person to me. He just presents differently. Just like Ali said, we're a soul first.

Wow. I pray for parents but it breaks my heart that Jazzs 💔 parents were signing on for surgery for their ore-teen...it's disgusting and I feel for her-of course you love your children but surgery on a child is a NO from me!!

@@striving1 Disgusting is the wrong word to use. What we learn as a parent of a transgender person is sensitivity, respect, kindness, and understanding. When it comes to my child, I only worry about how others will treat him. I can't say when a person should have surgery. I probably wouldn't do that to my child but I'd definitely have him/her in therapy because, mentally, the incongruence of the mind and body is a difficult thing to go through.

The one thing I love and appreciate about this show is the transparency that everyone gives. That in itself is healing ❤️. My children are 8 years apart, having them in different parts of my life has caused me to give them different types of love going through my own personal journey. I can relate to the wife in New Zealand. My mom passed in 2020 as well and never apologized for anything. I had to learn how to forgive her without an apology and get over the traumas I went through because of the lack of love shown to me. With that being said, I had to apologize to my daughter because she came into my life during and throughout a period of me being traumatized and it just spills over to the next closest person. Also, I can relate to Lamaiya (sorry if spelled incorrectly) about fussing at her son for being too emotional and/or crying. We have to love our children unconditionally and allow them to be their own person, of course with guidance, but in love. Great show!

I'm such a big fan of Tommy. His words definitely need to be heard. I appreciate him so much Pisces gang. But Cody is built for the hosting. I bet she wants Tommy right next to her but she really takes over and guides everything so well by herself. I wish he was on but I wouldn't change it. Cody is immaculate. Hince why he choose her

I’m curious why their son chose the name Zion. Anytime I hear that name for a child, I think of Lauryn Hill’s song “To Zion” 🤗

Hi There thank you so much for watching and commenting. Zion chose his name and it was originally a part of my list of names for them in their baby book before I knew the gender so it felt so amazing and so right when he told us that was his name. I was like Yes yes that's your name:) And yes I also loved it from Lauryn Hill incredible song and songtress:)
