However being in the DRC, we don't have access to a lot of the foods and products you suggest on your channel (tropeaka, activated nuts, almond milk ect). Omg this came to my life in such a perfect time. I been struggling with a recurrent UTI for 2 months now and been on 5 different antibiotics. Really been feeling not like myself and suffering so much from my gut. Recently I decided to take a break from medication ( my doctor approved) and my boyfriend made some research and told me to start having probiotics supplements and also I have 3 of those probiotic special yogurts a day. His theory was that I wasn't getting better because all of my good batería was gone. Also having all natural foods and raspberry pills suplements. It's been 3 days and all of my symptoms are gone. I feel much better and so much happier, I had lost all hope before. I thought I'll just put this out here in case someone is struggling with the same thing. I by no means would suggest leaving medication if that is what your doctor advices but I was so desperate after such a long time of failing with medicine that I gave this a go and luckily succeeded for now. Thank you for your tips sessy! I've been following you for a while and you never disappoint. I will include them in my diet to get even better!

Thanks to those who recommended some herbal teas as well. I do like chamomile on occasion, and I've tried mint tea and ginger tea but am not really keen on either. • @jillianrose1104

    @jillianrose1104

    7 жыл бұрын

    Anna Korchak I'm not Sarah but typically you should only really eliminate gluten if you are intolerant to it. So it's different for everyone. However, try cutting it out for a little while and see if you feel better without it!!

  • @morganl2633

    @morganl2633

    7 жыл бұрын

    Anna Korchak I was going to say something similar. If you find you're experiencing gut problems, try an elimination diet.. basically go down to basics.. I took this as far as going to a vegan diet for a couple weeks. Then slowly add foods back in and see if they affect how your gut feels. For example, doing an elimination diet I found that dairy is a big nono for me Especially cows milk (haven't drank it for 2+ years now) and cheese, and beef. So keeping those foods out of or low in my diet helps my tummy incredibly. I've just done swaps.. cashew milk for cows milk, coconut yogurt for dairy, grass fed and finished cows for grain fed. However, if you don't have gut issues then no worries! Most people only do elimination diets if there's something wrong in the first place. All the best to you and your gut!

  • @kendallzwang3838

    Anna Korchak cutting out gluten can sometimes be harmful if you don't have an intolerance or allergy to it! I don't eat it because it makes me incredibly bloated, lethargic, and get bumps on my arms. Try cutting it out of your diet for a week or two, and if you feel better then go for it! If it doesn't make a difference then no need to go gluten free! :)

    I don't drink smoke or do any of that stuff, my downfall has always been sugar...but I just wanna add that if you're having so many issues with foods ( I know that feeling) you should try following the FODMAP diet or doing the 30 day FODMAP elimination....you can get the list from Monash uni but I found that while on the 30 day diet I only had one tummy ache/ bloating in a month ...my body has difficulty with dairy, onions, garlic,apples, watermelon,peaches,pears,beans,cauliflower just to name a few....if you haven't heard of it...it's worth trying!

    I really enjoyed watching this! I've been reading up a lot about the gut, I too don't eat gluten and milk products. My body can tolerate yogurt but my body is so sensitive to anything I put in it so I rarely have it due to this... I recently went to the doctor who told me to add gluten back in, so I have and I've had a few side affects but unsure if it's related. Because they weren't immediate. Due to not being able to eat like everyone else sometimes gets me down and I have had instances when I've binged and made my self poorly so I do sympathise with how you're feeling now. I haven't had a binge in just over a month now as I am no longer tracking macros, cut out meat & fish so eating lots more vegetables and am now intuitively eating - which feels great! I too believe my gut has become irritable and sensitive from antibiotics. If only I knew the damage I was doing to my body at the time. Luckily we can change our Gut health & heal by the food we eat. It's so fascinating. One question I do have for you is ... Do you ever suffer with anxiety? And if so how do you cope? Love your videos & think you're amazing to watch. Charlotte from the UK 🇬🇧 xxxx

    This is so useful for me right now! I've had a couple of big nights out in the past couple of weeks which has thrown my digestive system completely out of whack (alcohol & 2am maccas doesn't help). On top of that I got my period today and that ALWAYS screws up my tummy :(. Sez I'd love for you to talk about whether you drink or not and why, and also how to deal with your period screwing up your gut (if you're unlucky enough that you get that too!)

I've been so off track recently, eating dairy gluten, and just beings down (all the while knowing the reason I feel down is because of what I'm putting in my body), also not working out, and its sucks. Im tired all of the time. I literally was just getting to a place whee my gut was almost healed and I've kind of fallen back. BUT, either way, SARAH you literally just ARE my inspiration to get back on track. So far today I've eaten all paleo and only what I can actually tolerate and I just mentally already feel more clear. In my experience when my gut was going haywire, heart burn after almost every meal for a few long months, I found that a more alkaline diet helped cure my symptoms. Removing vinegar, chocolate, coffee, red meat from my diet. Just until I felt good again and once I could eat my probiotics and feel good did I add these foods back in!

    I need to start taking more of a natural approach to my gut health! I found that taking probiotic supplements makes me bloat even more and I even tried to incorporate inulin as a drink every morning to help absorb the probiotics and I'm not sure if that made things worse or not but I always look bloated and round recently. I'm working out every day and eating well and recently people have commented on how I look "pregnant" or my belly is very round. I'm a month in after getting the implant (nexplanon) and I think this may be to blame as this is one of the side effects but it says that the side effects will go after 3-6 months. I also got a bad case of cellulite on my thighs and butt overnight!!!!!

    Lieve Veldhuis Everyone is different, your water intake needs depends on your body type, activity level, diet, etc. If your urine is consistently light yellow to clear when you pee, then you're doing just fine. There is such a thing as too much water (can cause electrolyte imbalances), so don't take one person's water needs as your own :).

    This came at a perfect time. I had to get on antibiotics for a chronic sinus infection I've been dealing with for a very long time. Thankfully today was my last day, and I've been on probiotics for a month or so now, and for the past couple of weeks I've been drinking Yakult and Kombucha and of course lots of water. Prior to the antibiotics I got my digestive health on track by eating a lot more greens :)

    I can vouch for the fasting and water tips. Before the pandemic hit, I had been doing intermittent fasting most days for almost 2 years & drinking lots of water during the day, and may stomach was always flat & I felt no issues with my gut. Now - after over a year of eating comfort foods and drinking mainly sodas during lockdown - I am very bloated pretty much every day, and so gassy... It's uncomfortable and makes me not want to do much 😣 I need to get back into fasting!

    Sezzyyy! I had this hair mask recommended to me from my hair dresser when my hair was all dead and frizzy and it works wonders! It would work especially well for your fine hair but it tends to make your hair a little greasy so make sure to shampoo a few times to get it out. One tbsp mayo Two tbsp olive oil. Before you start put a towel in the dryer Mix both together and apply to midshaft of hair to the ends. Cover with plastic cap and hot towel from the dryer. Let sit for 30 min. Wash x 3-4 and condition as usual. Your hair might feel a little heavy for a day or so. But this too shall pass. Okay enjoy bye!!
