The Mayora focuses on their sentiments as Cagayanos, Not on being a Filipino. There's not even an assurance or a hint that they are doing something to ensure the security of the land. What a weak leader! The least she can do is work hand-in-hand with the Armed forces of the Philippines. Not play a baby sitter of the Chinese. BIG ISSUES: 1. Tuguegarao in Cagayan is at the edge of the PH map near the Philippine Sea. 2. Student ages are in their military age. 3. Students are learned and mature. 5. 400 is a BIG number and very alarming. 6. China can easily bribe anyone. 7. The Mayor of Tuguegarao is not at her high level of consistency and trustworthiness. 8. It is Not about Sinophobia. It is not the heart of the problem. The problem is at the heart of the PLA and its Communist government. CCP has become very aggressive, greedy, and prideful. CCP needs to acknowledge GOD more than anything. Percy lapid said before on his program, those chinese who entered illegaly and passed through the visa upon arrival scheme go to cagayan and neighboring provinces to learn how to speak tagalog even a little then upon learning to speak tagalog, they will transfer living in manila.. I support the investigation by the congress on the influx of Chinese nationals in Tuguegarao.

I am stressed. I didn't like what is happening in our country.

Very concerning with these 486 Chinese Students who are in Cagayan studying at St. Paul. The US has denied entries of Mainland Chinese even with valid Visas because they are connected to the CCP in some form or another.

I am a paulinian also. I been there in the late 80s. There have no chinese ever seen in that exclusive campus. Only now. Why?

Every Mayor/s duty is to run an effective and safe environment of their cities. The PNP, AFP. NBI, PDEA, and starting from the Bu. of Immigrations should be our first line of DEFENSE.. if any of these goverment entities are asleep on the job or fully awake trying to make money thru illegal means, must be meted out with capital punishments. Foreigners came to the country not because the head of the city let them in, the port of entry around the country is manned by BI personnel and by the coast guard watching our shores. Any slacks or suspicious dealing with these agencies constitute grave consequence for the safety of our nation. We can not start blaming LGU's and their officials of initiating such anomalies because, they came in here either legally and or illegally thru our ports. People should refrain from accusing government officials of wrongdoings because of their Chinese sounding last names. Even Dutorpe said he is half chinese, and these young generations must understand that prior to their birth our chinese immigrants are all over the northern Luzon because of proximity ot Taiwan. Ong, Go, Wang, Lim Ongpin and so on has been a citizen of ths country for DECADES.. We have the largest Chinatown of all Asia not counting China and Taiwan. Who made this country as it is now? Mall of Asia, SM chains of stores, San Miguel Corp. and other successful companies that employs thousand of Filipinos right now and who are the people behind other thriving business in the country..CHINESE SOUNDING LAST NAME... Never heard of Juan de la Cruz or Pangilinan as multi millonaires because they owned a profitable company. Some of our FILIPINO millonaires are here because of MONEY UNDER THE TABLE THRU, CUSTOMS, PHILHEALTH, DEPED, PAGCOR, AND SEVERAL MORE THAT WILL COVER SO MUCH SPACE HERE IF I NAME THEM ALL. People are demanding lifestyle checks if you are of Chinese origins? Why not start with government OFFICIALS FIRST? BIG FISH ALWAYS GET AWAY.

How are Chinese students able to study in the Philippines when generally they are not fluent in English? I understand Indians or English-speaking nationalities but Chinese? English-speaking Chinese students go to US, Canada or UK.
