I've worked with Dr Herbosa way back in PGH. He's very passionate about his work and understands the situation in healthcare having worked in PGH ER for many years. I really hope he makes significant changes in DOH.

​@@bobcocampo a lot actually however what i admire about this Dr the most is his determination to uphold the standards in healthcare. He also acts swiftly and does not mind what others think as long as he is certain that he is doing the right thing.

Yes Dr Herbosa sana ganyan na digitalize like in US. Primary doctor can just send orders and prescription to labs.and to the pharmacy save time and patients can get their medications right away.yes Dr Herbosa sana gaya dito sa US newly graduates can work as unlicensed nurses so they can get experience mababa lang ang sahud compare sa license nurses iba lang ang duties and responsibilities good idea para hindi na sila aalis at mapalayo sa kanilang Familia at iwas hiwalayan after work they go home to their family..

Several plans he mentioned are promising, and hopefully, with his leadership, they will be implemented as soon as possible including digitization of the entire department to work efficiently and gather more accurate information about the healthcare sector. Additionally, he plans on welcoming diploma-level nurses to work in healthcare positions below that of staff nurses while providing a timeline for them to pass the board exam to progress their careers. Furthermore, health promotion and literacy is a very good start to his term.

We have a lot of problems in our health facilities especially in county provinces , lack of facilities and hospitals , health workers sometimes are not cooperative and organised… Compare to other country most of their government hospitals are complete facilities and medicines… unlike in Philippines in government hospitals especially in provinces will ask you to go to private facilities to do some test and the medicine if you show them always wala daw available… hopefully also sir you can audit all the medicines and medical facilities that all the government facilities and health care that provided para maiwasan ang mga mapag samantalang empleyado ng gobyerno sa hanay ng kalusugan!

Sec Herbosa, the answer to your question about asking nurses to stay in PH. Implement UHC at all classes, irregardless if you belong to Low, middle or High income levels. By then on you reduce the burden to all citizens who has to save money for healthcare costs. Pay Healthcare workers with the right amount of money based on inflation levels and economic situations. Make them secure and comfortable and they will not go out. Expand nurses role to specialists and make their career interesting. Support further education, make also research and innovation a priority
