True character of a person is very different from a person's reputation. Politicians will only show you there suppose to be good side and not their real character. I once met Senator Drillon unexpectedly while walking at his secretary's funeral and without knowing who I was, he greeted me, "Good evening." He was walking with the late Senator Joker Arroyo at that time. This senator is really kind.

He is a five-time Senate President along with Senator Sotto.. Alam nya talaga and their batch naman may sinasabi in terms of credentials. Yung batch ngayon like Bato, Padilla, Mark Villar, nakaupo lang....

In my own opinion, Drilon, Lacson and De Lima are more qualified to be Senators compared to Bato, Go, and Padilla.

In the Senate , like the Philippine Senate many things can happen between Twelve Noon and Three O'Clock in the afternoon.

You can immediately feel the pressure once a battle tested Senator speak about the complexity in maintaining your position as senate president. I admire Sen. Drilon as a leader and legislator because he put the senate in order for the longest time.

Despite the balance of powers between the executive, legislative, & the judiciary, political influence is always present particularly/especially between executive & the legislative. That's one reason why there exists a political majority--so that the head leader has the upper hand in all matters executive & to a certain extent, legislative.

Mostly majority of the senate serve at the pleasure what the executive wish, sometimes not in the best interest of the tax paying public.
