Part 1: Build Your Rig 101 - • HeadRush Pedalboard: P...
Part 3: The Looper 101 - • HeadRush Pedalboard: P...
This video gives the viewer a brief lesson and demo on how to configure the HeadRush Pedalboard's footswitches and internal switching. Other general functions of the HeadRush Pedalboard can be viewed via the links above.
The HeadRush Pedalboard is a serious modelling and multi-effects workhorse based around the Eleven HD Expanded code. It offers one of the most advanced, easiest and intuitive onboard interfaces I've ever seen and is road ready in all aspects including construction and I/O facilities. At the time of writing the HeadRush offers over 30 amp models, 15 cabinet models, 10 microphone models, 6 distortion stomps, 8 rotary sims, 5 types of dynamic/eq effects, 11 modulation effects, 7 types of reverb and delay effects, 5 expression pedal effects and the ability to import third party cabinet Impulse Responses. If you're looking to get into a modelling and multi-effect solution for your gigs, bedroom, studio or just plain fun, you should take a close look at the HeadRush when making your choice.

    Fantastic workability on the fly from this powerful processor. If I had a choice between the Helix or the Hrush 2nds wins it hands down. Its just the planning variations are endless and you can do whatever you like with such simplicty. The stereo effect is brilliant over this system the monitors just about spoke to me! Very very cool indeed. I've only just finished putting my rack together with some very chosen effects that allow me to run two effects systems analog or the digital route with wonderful presence through 2 AC15C1's. Considering what I have spent on gear. midi all the gear....this is not a hard decision at all. Thanks for the demo Burgs I also watched Pete Thorns razzle dazzle with the same machine and it is an amazing piece of work, Nice one Eleven. I will reveal however that an Eleven rack has been part of the equip in the past, wow what an update! Next it will be simply downloadable! I've been watching the map mate my brother lives where you do....its rather chilly, keeps asking if I want to come back? Well I live up on the North Coast now sure I'm a Ballarat born and bread but warmer climes....stay warm mate and thanks for all the intuitive insight you give us, inspiring!

    The interface is superb, but I just dont think the tones are up there with a Fractal. I've got Fracpad on my tablet and mobile phone for tweaking away from my PC

    Hmmm, obviously I'm not in able to directly A/B both so I'll take your word for it but just going off of the demos I've heard there's always been a noticeable gap between the Headrush tones and what a Fractal can do YMMV

    Tony Kennedy. If you don’t need both there is no need. Amps on the HR are on par (albeit more limited). Effects are more substantial on the AX8. But if you want to quickly experiment with soundscapes the interface on the HR makes it a breeze. I have built rigs on the HR and replicated them on the Axe. The HR is a great tool if you want to quickly put together a sound. It is also half the price and a good backup.

    create video Brett... have you ever shared any of your rigs for the Headrush unit? I built my own rig by watching your 1st video... but I was curious to hear if you ever did share any of your rigs on the cloud somewhere? Cheers from Canada.

    Absolutely excellent videos. I've been contemplating getting either the headrush or helix lt (I've always leaned towards headrush). How does the sound quality compare to the helix lt? I've heard lots of comments trashing the headrush in comparison to the helix but I just dont see how it can be any worse. Sounds great to me.

    In the reserve that I have one the videos I've listened to it the helix sounds good but the headrush is always sounded better that's why I even ended up buying the hearty headrush pedal board

    I know this is probably gonna be a 'no', but do you think you could create a patch similar to that awesome reverb/delay patch you created for your Space in D-ish on the fractal?

  • @BrettKingman

    @BrettKingman

    6 жыл бұрын

    For you, Jason, I'll give it a shot. We have to keep in mind, however, that the Axe has pretty serious reverb and delay algorithms - both of which largely make up the 'Space in D-ish' sound. If I was using rack effects I'd need a couple of H3000's and a 2290 to even come close. But I'll give it a shot! Challenge accepted. :D
