Amish County of PA is a beautiful area. You will enjoy it. I have been to many shows at Sight and Sound. They are are phenomenal!! Its great that you can meet up with your friends. Enjoyed this road trip so much. We live near Syracuse NY. We do this trip coming from Myrtle Beach so we have done these roads. We usually stay in Staton VA and then home the following day. We have done Amish Country many times. We have friends that own a bed and breakfast in Paradise PA and it is called Frog town Acres. We love Hershey, and all the other many things you are doing. We have been to Sight and Sound many times. Their shows are great. We love Shady Maples and the gift store is amazing. There is also store near there we like going too. We are like 6 hours from Hershey. Look forward to seeing your trip.

You came thru my area. I am off I-81 in Radford, VA. Have a great trip! 81 is full of tractor trailers, I think that is what makes it such a hard road to drive.

I'm pretty sure that you passed me in my semi truck on 81 North. I usually cross the PA line about the same time. 5 nights a week. I'm sure I remember a sportage being driven a little crazy 😂😂😂😂😂 . Believe me, I see that EVERY night . From central Virginia, i go all the way up to Allentown. And back. God bless you always 🙏

Fancy Gap is the last hill of any significance when heading south to the beach.

I know who she is from studies of history, but I don't remember her personally. I was born in 1969, and Shawnasi in 1977. His Presidency basically ended 5 months before I was born.

I enjoyed watching your trip up I 81! You passed by kinda near to us, we are about an hour from the Staunton VA exit 221 , we are in Orange VA, which has Montpelier, home of James and Dolley Madison. Always a lot of trucks on I 81, that’s our route down to TN. We’ve been wanting to go up to PA , and have been enjoying your videos from there. It’s definitely on our bucket list. Looks like a fun trip!

Have a great trip! I had a friend who lived in Lancaster for years and used to visit her. Your pronunciation of Lancaster will change after you go there! Wonderful area!

I do this trip from Cajah Mountain to see my Kids at the NJ Shore 6-8 times a year know this well .... A lot of Fed-Ex trucks too .... safe travels ....

81 is a good interstate but it seems like you are in the mountains almost all the way to Pennsylvania. 2 years ago went to Sight and Sound in Lancaster. Don't forget the claimed largest buffet in the US which is The Shady Maple just outside of Lancaster.

That section of I77 through Fancy Gap sure is beautiful! We always called it the 7-mile mountain. Been up it so many times heading to War,WV to visit my wife's family. Prayers for ya'lls safe travels.

I live only 30 minutes from Intercourse, and only 30 minutes from shady maple. We were at the shady maple grocery store yesterday. And then we also go to other stores a little further away in Lancaster county. It gets very busy on the weekend. Lots of tour buses.

Oh check out the sight and sound theater in Lancaster! We have not been to the one out there yet, but they have one just like it in Branson, currently in Lancaster they are playing Daniel, it’s supposed to be really good. Google it I think you would enjoy it and let us know how it is if you go.
