Head unit remote wire solution *fixed*

Музыка

If your remote wire isn't responding in the back of the head unit. Try this fix
Make sure your power wire is hooked up, and make sure you check your grounds.
Sometimes your wire at the Amp, may not be tighten all the way.
My fix, is simply attaching your remote wire from your amp, to your radio fuse or ignition fuse. It will work, just as it did before. Turn your key and start bumpin again.

I have had the same fkn problem with my android HU christmas gift, which also came with a set of blaupunkt 360 watt and a 1500watt 4 channel bridging amp. I have an older 2 seater convertible sports car that came out JUST before auxiliary and bluetooth. I'm sure they existed but weren't being installed by the factory just yet. In fact, the GPS system (stock) was a cd and I imagine, all audio , for perspective. So I have been upgrading some things because I am spoiled on the backup cam, the wireless connectivity, charging ports, dash cam, etc. I love the car so much, it inspires me to get my hands dirty, which I stopped liking to do when I was a teenager. I work on electronics, and build gadgets, but had never installed an audio system in a car. I;'ve set up plenty home audio and home theater and even PC gaming audio system configurations, I used to train DJs all over the world on broadcasting software remotely, and tune their audio outputs from across the world, but a simple amp, speakers, HU, sub, cams have thus far escaped me. How hard can it be, right? the answer to that is Quite if you have no idea. This has been a project going on now for a couple weeks when I have any free time and my husband just watches me drive my car up on the curb so I can get under it to fish a wire from a jbox in the engine bay to the convertible storage via under the car's undercarriage (I call it French parking after my father in law's uncanny ability to always park the car with a single tire on the curb, But I do it to not be bothering with a jack) because I can't get access to the wire once I was through the firewall. No suggestions from him, no nada. That was an all night fight and some creative wire tucking. My OEM wiring of the previous stereo system is non typical, to boot, which took a crap ton of research and not a lot of information out there due to my car being sort of rare and it also had a hard discontinuation after only 4 years of production.. But just like everything else I undertake, I generally research it so much, I could be considered an expert by the end of the adventure. Which is going to happen with this car. Back to the android HU: I have a handful of blade fuse splitters and a small fuse panel inside the car I can tap into that runs a few interior components and some of my vehicle lamps. I totally forgot about those. I got them for led stuff but have put that off till I get music back. I appreciate the hint! Just gotta strategically choose a component to piggy back off of and we're golden assuming the protection mode isn't signalling bad FETS, in which case, I'll have to sniff those out and solder in new ones. Cross that bridge when I get there. Thanks for the info. Have a good one.

OK, let's figure this out 😁 Sometimes theres a blue wire that says antenna( straight blue) And then there's a blue wire with a white stripe in the middle of it(the remote wire for your amp) if you have this correct. Let's move on. 👍 *Don't connect the the blue wire to your stereo. *Connect it to your interior fuse box. In your car manual, find the one that says (radio) *Pull the fuse out of its spot and then push the remote wire in, followed by the radio fuse. *When your car comes on, the radio with too. Which allows the amp to turn on as well. 👍 If that doesn't work. We'll figure it out together. 😎

Android head unit too. Its on. Amp came on initially. I also heard a speaker thud or pop. Then amp wasnt working. Multimeter says i have power at the amp power and ground wires, but no reading at the remote turn on wire. I tried disconnecting remote wire and my amp can use rca cables to turn on amp. I tried that mode and nothing. I cant figure it out.

I would recheck your grounds and wiring. Sometimes it's right there looking at you. Also make sure the blue wire has a white line going to your amplifier. That's the remote wire. The solid blue is (antenna) which is connected.
