➤Head Prestige MP L 2023 Racquet: www.tennis-warehouse.com/descp...
As the lightest member of the Prestige family, the Prestige MP L brings the incalculable benefit of maneuverability and speed to one of the game's most storied control franchises. At approximately 11.2 ounces strung and boasting a whippy sub-315 swingweight and open 16x19 string pattern, this racquet will give intermediate players the kind of user-friendly hitting experience that breeds confidence. For the more advanced ball striker, the MP L not only makes a great customization option, but it's also no slouch in stock form where it provides a user-friendly entry point into the outstanding control and feel of the Prestige family. The main technology is Auxetic 2, a uniquely flexible material in the yolk and handle to optimize feel. The MP L also benefits from Graphene 360+ (labeled Graphene Inside), which strengthens the frame in key locations to increase power and stability. Ultimately, this racquet is an outstanding option for those who want a faster, more spin-friendly Prestige without sacrificing the control and feel for which the franchise is known.

Best platform racquet ever. CAP grommets to hide the lead, too!

Love the review. I recommend the often overlooked Mantis 310 PS III and Mantis 260 Performa tennis racquets for those players looking for control, power, and confidence.

Interesting string pattern on that one. It resembles a Pro Staff with the outer crosses being closer to the edge of the frame compared to the Prestige Tour. Is the feel similar to the Pro Staff?

Hello Tennis Warehouse, does the grip shape of this racket is rectangular? Or the new square grip? It feels rectangular to me. Thanks 🙏

All the current Head racquets should be the more square shape, or the TK82S pallet that was originally introduced with the Speed line a while back. Troy, TW

One question: If I string the Wilson Champions’ Choice, which set up should be suitable for more spin?

There are some differing opinions here, but I find that putting the natural gut in the mains gives slightly more spin potential, as well as improved feel for the ball. The main thing I noticed with the poly in the mains is a bit more control, or a slightly less lively feel. We also found this to be true in our TW university lab data, when it comes to spin potential and the gut in the mains. Troy, TW

Hello tw, how would you compare this one to the tf40 305 16x19 ? Thks!

The Prestige MP L will be easier to maneuver, and feel slightly more forgiving in the headsize. The TF40 305 16x19 swings with more heft and plow through, but also a bit more solid and stable, and also feels a bit more precise with the 98 headsize. Troy, TW

what is the differences between 2021 and 2023 models, all the specs seems same. if it is the only difference, what auxetic 2 brings to table that auxetic 1 couldn't? thanks

If you are comparing the 2021 to the 2023 for the Prestig MP L the specs aren't that much different however the 2023 is quite a bit more flexible with a 61 stiffness rating (measured on RDC Machine) and the 2021 Prestige MP L is 65 for the stiffness rating. The average swingweight is also slightly lower on the 2023. I would say in general the new 2023 Auxetic 2.0 Prestige line of racquets feels a bit more soft and plush. Troy, TW

it is softer and has lower swing weigt, so can we say 2021 is packing more power? Or auxetic used on the tip compensate that difference?

If there was an award for renaming same technology numerous times, head would be a clear winner
