Coach Pry is definitely comfortable with you guys. The energy in this interview is sooooo much better than his press conference. He looked distracted.

If the key players stay healthy,9+ regular season wins is very possible this season.

Great edition, guys. I have grown to love Pry, He's a Hokie through and through. He understand us. He understands the Virginia Tech traditions. And the fact he worked under Bud on defense, he understands what VT football is all about...blue collar, tough, commitment to the process. I'm glad he's here. There's still a lot of building to do but he seems to be on the right track, especially relationship building with the high school coaches in VA. If you can keep your staff intact and keep your best players from entering the portal or entering the draft, you are doing something right.

We will know when Pry is really good at recruiting in Virginia when he gets a QB from Virginia to play a down. Logan Thomas was the last QB from Virginia to play for VT and that was 11 years ago. Get that Virginia QB coach.

it's also been a long time since Virginia was rich in talented QBs! Wilton Speight + Trace McSorley were the last highly touted VA QBs.

Coach pry talks it up as good as any of them. But Reality is we were barely by the skin of our teeth 7-6. We could of been 6-7 at the drop of a hat. We barely made the bowl game. To me the entire thing is the Quarterback position. Figure out who we can get in there is the ""KEY"""...!!! The kid we got is not a Superstar by any aspect of the game. He is a big black guy who runs at every opportunity. He likes to watch himself on YT. He eats it up like candy. But his running instead of dodging and scampering around to find the open receiver never happened all season. He just took off, never even looking to throw. Flat out running. And it's killing the program. We need a throwing first Quarterback. Or we'll be 6-6 again. Am I being hard , no I am not , hard is watching the film of him last year. There's the hard. Breaking him of it , isn't going to work. Can't teach an old dog, new tricks. We need a replacement. Peace.
