    Hi. Thanks for review, thats super helpful and really great! Does Extreme pro would feel too heavy if I used to play with Wilson One.six 95 spin effect (which.weighted unstrung 309g) and it felt great to me. Does Extreme Tour or Pro would feel a bit similar to Wilson one six 95s? Did you try how pro or tour feels when play without dampener? Many thanks in advance. Kristina

    Hi Jonas I know you’re generally an advocate of slimmer frames sub 23mm for one handed backhand but how was your experience hitting OBH with the Extreme MP and Pro with their slightly thicker frames in the centre? I’m currently playing with a Pro staff 97 and love the plow through of the 315g frame but I feel my game is not yet as advanced as to play with a 97 sq in frame.

    Is the xtreme tour version more powerful than the tecnifibre tf40 305? I use tf40 305. I feel low power on some shots (especially if I hit without a good leg drive) and good acceleration is difficult to achieve. I want to change an xtreme tour. What do you think about that? Do you think that racket generates power more easily and has enough control like the tf40? Greetings from Chile!

    How’s the back feeling with the platform? Either one is fine, but you need to fix your pin point, if you want to go with that one. You bring your back foot in front of your front foot, which minimizes hip turn and thus power. Keep grinding!

    Hey Jonas - not sure if you'll see this, but figured I'd try and comment and see if you see it :) So largely based on your reviews, as well as demoing quite a few racquets last summer, I ended up buying a pair of Blade v7s, 16x19. I'm a low-end 4.0 NTRP, and have grown a lot over the last year as a player. I've come to feel like I need a little more pop and put-away power from my racquet itself. Don't get me wrong, I love the Blade - but I need my flat serve to be a little more of a weapon, and I need to have a few more miles per hour on my big forehand winners. (I'm a lefty!). I've also come to realize that I am NOT an all-court player... I'm scared of the net! I rely on finishing points from the baseline with great depth and speed or approach shot winners with big hits and sharp angles. I've been debating swapping the Blade out for something like the Vcore 98 or Pure Strike 98, but the Extreme Pro REALLY caught my eye. Does it help that Berretini is using it and I was obsessed with his play in Madrid? Yes it does! Long story short, do you think that the Extreme Pro might be what I'm looking for? I've also thought about the Tour versus the Pro - and I guess, I also maybe want the larger sweet spot of the Pro. The Pro is supposedly even a softer lay-up as well which I think would be great. I tried a Pure Aero out and it was just SO STIFF! Love what you do Jonas - thanks for your help!

  • @Tennisnerd

    @Tennisnerd

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Benjamin, if you want a generous helping of power and spin, the Extreme Pro is excellent. If you want just a slight increase, the Extreme Tour is the way to go. They will be softer than the Pure Aero for sure. Regarding the other frames, I prefer the VCORE over the STRIKE. If you thought the Aero was stiff, I don't think Babolat is your friend.

    @@Tennisnerd Thanks for your input Jonas, I really appreciate it. This is a very specific question, but do you by chance remember/have a way to check what your swingweight on the Pro was UNSTRUNG? I know your strung was 327 which is like perfect. Trying to get racquets matched that are to that spec.

  • @pdervan

    It’s generally accepted that strings will add about 30 points to the swingweight of a racket. If that’s any help. I have two of these, and they come in at 313 and 320 strung swingweight. 👍(slightly heavier grip than stock, by about 5g)

  • @amorco

    His previous review of the Extreme 2019 felt stiffer, although a TW RA is 64. This new 202 version, he reviews softer when the TW RA is 66. The new Extreme has a higher swing weight, but not by much because of the head heavy balance of 3 which makes it feel softer. The head light balance of the previous Extreme counteracting the stiffness feel. Changing the head balance makes the previous model better softer feel.

    Hi! I'm an intermediate player currently using a Babolat Pure Aero, hit with a lot of topspin (coming from table tennis) and find the racquet is not very arm-friendly and also a bit too much of a rocket. I've been considering making the switch to the Head Extreme line, given it's a spin-oriented racquet but with a little bit more comfort, and depending on the specific racquet, control.
