I'm an older guy who doesn't like to read but I can say I was missing out on some good h.p. lovecraft. That's for sure. I love witches hollow and the rats in the walls. My two favorites so far.

+fiona cahill Hi Fiona, as I responded to your other post about an hour ago, I am finally up and running again! I couldn't open and read message section of my channel for 2 months because the headache was so devastating. I was barely functional only for few hours a day during those 2 months. It was like I was in a state of coma for the most of the days. Thank you so much my friend for your well wish and kind words and now I am back and I hope this recovery is permanent one. The first part is definitely autobiogprahical. Old Howie Phil Love was stoked on going to NYC. When he got there - he hated it. (Unfortunately, he was largely so put off because there were a lot of like... Jews and minorities there. Awesome writer... a bit racist.)

I've always thunk it was the regret of his move to the big Apple that stopped him from traveling to England. He'd be ashamed at the current state of our immigration laws. I think Ron Paul has the right idea; we should concern ourselves with rebuilding our own economy before we help others.

+Andrew Paul at which point do we decide we finished? Only when every man woman and child lives in mansions and all social ills have been eliminated do we help others? An immigrant and refuge will work harder than a native citizen because he came from less, and has that drive to,succeed.

+gargoyles9999 by no means am I doubting their worth or work ethic I agree with you on that point. But with more youth comes more schools having to be opened to meet the criteria of a growing get populous, doctors having to treat patients who are unaware of the risks of the West and our careers. Consumption of food will increase etc. In newfoundland where I Live the "state" just cut the Child Birth tax (and the fu dkng parents recieve for having children under the age of 18 in tbeir househole) made college loans far more expensive and complicated and put a 16cent tax on gasoline regardless of current prices. and that's just the beginning. I'm not prejudice by any means and I know "The inner most circles of Hell are presurved for those who retain their neutrality in times of crisis." but we simply can't afford thousands of refugees when we can't balance our own budget. Research Ron Paul's ranks of foreign aid.

+Andrew Paul by that logic we shouldnt be having children then. Newborns have to be raised consume food, recieve medical treatment schooling. An increasing population increases demand which leads to increased production which leads to economic growth. The whole immigrants will ruin us arguement has been used time and time again. The Italians and Irish coming to the US, the mexicans (guess who actually picks most of the food on farms down south), and we are still here. Western countries are currently experiencing aging populations ie baby boomers, meaning that the ratio of working to retirees is falling. Without replacements (since birthrates in western nations is dropping) the burden becomes proportionally higher.

Wait, in the last flash, did he see New York in the future populated by Asian people, or did he see the old past?

Although I am deeply impressed at his use of the word elephantiasis I do feel that it's use here is derogatory and offensive to all elephant women and men.

Lovecraft would definitely be Alt Right if he were around today. Sadly he would also have to lament that Paris and London have gone the way of New York, being zombified cities largely inhabited by people with little or no connection to the people that built them- strangers 'without kinship to the scenes about them', as he puts it.
