Honestly I think her first half of the list is pretty reasonable. It's weird because basically everyone loves desert in America so why even be concerned? The no kids is shrinking your choices at that age but hey she's a woman, she's attractive so she has a lot of choices. The second half is just dumb in my opinion. Honest? Do you have an issue with dating pathological liars? People in general are gonna be reasonably honest. Quick witted? Unless you're dating comedians this is just silly. Telling a 40 year old man he can only be a social drinker if he wants to date you is a good way to get him to ghost you. That first half doesn't seem bad to me. When I dated I went after a lot of women around 5'0. I like short petite chicks and that's what I went for. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me so why shouldn't a woman want to date a tall guy who doesn't smoke and is financially stable? With context it makes sense. I don't like seeing people who look bummy by being in PJs & sweatpants all the time or out of place. If I'm at home then yeah. But if I'm going out with someone I would want them to dress up not go out in sleep wear. I feel the same but I can kind of understand what she means. As in he is good at being spontaneous sometimes and a planner other times, but there isn't a good middle for it if that is what she asking about. I can be spontaneous once in a while but I am primarily a planner kind of guy. But yeah she was very unclear in what that meant to her.

My list was based off of my past relationships, and the type of persons they were. We all have preferences, but the person themselves are more important than the preferences (if the person is generally a good, well rounded person willing to learn and grow, as you are willing to learn and grow from them as well)...

"Can't be stronger than me" Is she just afraid of having a man ever show a semblance of dominance ? She basically wants a pushover.

That’s not really a conflict. She doesn’t want a long distance relationship and she wants to travel with the guy. Nothing wrong with that. The rest of her list is ridiculous though

The problem I have with anyone that dislikes someone having preferences is that they assume the person looking for the partner is trying to mold a random person into being what they want. Theyre not trying to mold anyone, they just want their right person to show up- and the only way to find them is to be transparent about what they want.

I kinda understand the liking desert thing. My parents are both scientists and talk to eachother about stuff I can't even comprehend, eating dinner with them was like sitting in a university lecture. I kinda get it but she doesn't seem too fussed about the inner workings of deserts etc. I guess it's different if you are both scientists in similar fields because you can bounce off eachother for ideas and use of certain high tec equipment the other doesn't have at the workplace. Now that I think about it my parents just use each other for scientific advancements, I guess that's why their still together.

I'm screaming because on initial looks and demeanor she looks like someone I'd date, hearing all her requirements for dating and how many contradictions there are makes me realize "Man, I need to date different sorts of women less maladjusted." That list is going to be borderline impossible to uphold and will obviously need a LOT of compromise to come down from and let a lot of it go. Red flags like hell all around. She honestly made her list so impossible and if she can't budge on a lot of it, it's just flat out unreasonable and irrational to even ask for all of that from one person, maybe from like five separate people, but not one single person.

I thought the same thing, my list would be about not wanting to be molded, like: "Must not force me to hate sweets" for example.
